When I thought that people forget about our troops (my son was KIA 3/26/06), this email gets posted. Thank you from my wife and I, it renew our hope that our troops still get the support needed to come home safe.

meister4 We will never forget. We pray everyday for the safety of each and everyone of them. I do feel your loss, though I cannot feel it as you do. I want you to know that your son and all other servicemen and women will never be forgotten. Those who would dishonor, spit on our troops,or call them dispicable names will not be forgotten either. They will not be forgiven.
    Sincerely,

Thank you for what you are doing. I live in Wisconsin. To travel the distance, financial and family needs of a son with disabilities at home prevent my attendance. How I wish I could. Know I am thinking of you and please remember my son SSG Patrick Lee Lybert, 3-71 CAV 10th MTN DIV, KIA 21 June 2006, Gowardesh Afghanistan. I was at the Wall several years ago and cannot tell you the emotions that swept over me. And now to think I am the mother of a Fallen Soldier, unreal. God Bless all our Fallen Heros.

  14. Sam Cottle on February 26th, 2007 8:51 pm

Thank you all for standing for the sacredness of our freedom. I am unsure if we are going to be able to attend yet. You are and will be in our prayers. May God bless you God bless America!
Father vindicate our soldiers and sacred memorials like you did in the days of old. May the enemies of this great nation whether here on our soil or abroad come face to face with the God of Justice. Bless us Lord and help us to complete our missioin. In Jesus Name Amen
There is no telling how much can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit, for those who understand this no explanation is needed, for those who don’t none will suffice.
    Bless ya’s!

Thank you so much for posting the video I made to your site - I’m glad that so many people get to see it and appreciate it!

I wish I could be at the Wall with you all on March 17th. I don’t even live that far away, we’re just south of Fort Belvoir. Unfortunately the 17th is a Saturday, so my husband and I won’t be able to attend. He’s an Army recruiter and his station works 6 days a week, so he does not get Saturdays off.

  16. Robbie on February 27th, 2007 12:06 am

We will always remember and be grateful to our fallen heros. To those of you who will be at the Wall on March 17th, thank you. Thank you for supporting our troops and the ideals our freedoms are based upon. And for standing for all of us who still believe in the United States of America. I think we’ve been beaten down too long by activists and politicans who despise our military and our way of life. God bless all of you, and God bless the United States of America, one nation under God.

My thanks to MauserGirl for the great tribute to our fallen heroes. When I ride my Iron Horse, my vest bears the slogan “Vets Don’t Forget” - So it shall be on the 17th. It is time to defend their honor and remember the sacrifice of those who gave the ultimate in the fight for freedom. Never again will the dignity of our solders be tread upon, never again shall their blood be in vain, and never again will their monuments be desecrated. I will ride to wall for SSG Patrick Lee Lybert and I will ride for the the rest - because Vets Don’t Forget !!

    “There it is

    *********************

It seems like several lie times since I heard those words of ultimate understanding, Wrangler.

It brought back a flood of Memories of those days in the Jungles when someone would say something that made absolute sence.

And another 18 year old would answer; “There is is.”

I thank you for that warm flashback. See you in DC.

    Sky~Soldier,
I am glad I phrased that right. I got it from my first platoon sgt a Vietnam vet. Gysgt Leroy had another rule/law “When you hear Guns Up, you go”. Well I have heard the call and I will be there.
