Peace Protester Spits At An Eagle

March 23, 2007

HotAir has a link to a video of confrontations between anti-war protesters and Eagles. At about 1:49 into the video clip, the anti-war protester spits at an Eagle. Except…get this…the glob of spit doesn’t quite get far enough, and ends up glopping down in front of her. If that one scene isn’t a priceless metaphor for the entire ineffectual peace movement - I don’t know what is.

Drooling imbeciles. Some things never change, do they?

Simply hilarious. Stupid peaceniks can’t even spit right!

I loved it. She missed. But I have to give all the props to that Vet she tried to spit on. He exercised much restraint. If that had been a women Vet she tried to spit at, I would like to think that protestor would have with have been picking herself up off the ground. I noticed as soon as she tried to run after doing it. They are cowards. They have not honor.

Thomas Mulrine was the Veteran in the video that was curseing the other veterans. He is an attourney. Maybe someone can email him. or you can call the Virginia Bar Association and ask a few questions. Wonder if we could sue him for Libel, Slander and Defamation. Why would he want to march with Anachists. I don’t get it…maybe someone paid him to do it.

    part of background:
(he was Member: Loudoun County and Virginia Bar Associations; The District of Columbia Bar; Virginia State Bar. [Colonel, U.S. Army, 1966-1996: Platoon Leader, 4th Infantry Division, Vietnam, 1967; Company and Battalion Commander, Deputy Group Commander; Director, Plans and Operations, U.S. Army Europe Logistics, Operation Desert Storm; Chief of Staff Army Chair Industrial College of the Armed Forces, 1996. Recipient, two Defense Superior Service Medals, two Legions of Merit, two Bronze Stars].

    uhh… hello? He IS a lawyer…

    (sorry, couldnt resist! :D )

  5. SouthernBoyupNorth on March 23rd, 2007 8:34 am

Lawyers for the most part ARE bottom feeders.
    Joke:
Why wont a shark attack a lawyer

    Punch line: Professional courtesy

  6. Redhead Infidel on March 23rd, 2007 8:35 am

DaniGon, I loved what the vets yelled back at him - something about him forgetting who the enemy really is! That must’ve felt good for a Spec4 to holler that at an infantry colonel. :D Especially since he was woefully oblivious to the fact that he was marching WITH America’s enemies. He ought to be mortally ashamed of himself. There’s a time and a place for him to make his points about the Iraq War, but in the streets opposing our troops and veterans with America’s Great Unwashed is NOT one of them.

    And ditto that, SouthernBoy. Haha

    Its on the way

Hey you guys, I think we can solve the immigration/moonbat problem. The moonbats should just go to the Mexican border and as the illegals come over, just trade places with them. You know, give them their ss cards so they can work legally and pay taxes.

The moonbats can go live in Mexico. (I wonder what they do to people that spit at men/women in uniform there). Then we will have people in this country to WANT to be here, working and paying taxes. I am sure there will be some small details to work out, but it is a start.

  9. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 9:04 am

better than most plans Ive heard yet!

So, when are you announcing your candidacy?

  10. DaniGon on March 23rd, 2007 9:14 am

I emailed this (but confess changed my email but let him know the city and state I live in)

Why did you march with people that burn effigies of our military, spit on our military, and support Hanoi Jane and Sheehan the Terrorist Mom? My husband was a Vietnam Vet and you just insulted him and the other Veterans there. SHAME SHAME SHAME. There is a time and place. That wasn’t it.
or were you bought and paid for by the enemy to be there? I agree with the Veterans that said you forgot who you were. That must be what it was…
or was someone using your name.

Speaking of SLANDER- if it was you, you just slandered the 58,000 +

Vietnam Vets Wife (and that is one Veteran that is SUPPORTING THE TROOPS MISSION as I do)

MY BROTHER DON CORBIN SERVED WITH THE 12TH CAV. A/2/12 “ACE HIGH” IN VIETNAM FROM 02/68 THRU 02/69. MY SON SERVES WITH THE 528TH NAT. GUARD AND HAS DONE A TOUR IN AFGANISTAN. I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE BEEN THERE WITH THE EAGLES. I AM SO PROUD THAT THESE FINE PEOPLE SHOWED UP AND TOOK THE STAND THEY DID AGAINST THE WAR PROTESTERS. AS THE YOUNG SOLDIERS SAID “ITS SAD TO COME BACK TO THE STATES AND SEE THIS KIND OF FIGHTING” BUT, THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING. TO ALL THE EAGLES THAT WAS IN WASHINGTON FIGHTING AGAIN FOR THERE COUNTRY, I SALUTE YOU.

    Gerb,

I have way too many skeletons in my closet to run for office. I am a reformed moonbat, nuff said!!!

  14. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 1:42 pm

    Reformed Moonbat?

Is that what they call it after a bath? Cha-ching!

Seriously, glad to have you on OUR side Patriot!

Far as the skeletons, lets leave em lay.

  15. patriot007 on March 23rd, 2007 1:47 pm

Yeah, I was never a very good moonbat. I was raised by a patriot, really screws up your liberalism!!!

Hey maybe you or Coop can help me with this. I travel on business alot and end up with airline miles and hotel points. This is what allowed me to get to the march in DC. I was wondering if there is a way to donate those to a vet in the future. I would love to be at every event, but thought maybe a vet that would otherwise not get to attend would enjoy attending. Let me know your thoughts on that please.

  16. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 1:55 pm

I dont know how that stuff works… but I LOVE the idea and concept!! If there is a way, we need to make that work…

I was lucky enough to get fully sponsored by a local restaraunt here. They footed the entire bill.

http://thebrick-pizzeria.com (least I can do for them)

So, I was feeling special even before I had my bags packed!

I think its a great idea… redheadinfidel, I KNOW you are out there somewhere! :)

  17. patriot007 on March 23rd, 2007 1:59 pm

I’ll keep racking up the points and miles while you guys help me figure out how to spend them. I was so grateful for the opportunity. I am a civilian and judging from the kinship I could feel among the vets, I think every vet should have the opportunity to experience that. You guys rock!!

  18. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 2:01 pm

We couldnt do it without you folks at home either. You “civvies” need to quit under-rating yourselves in this… (can we call this a movement yet?).

  19. patriot007 on March 23rd, 2007 2:10 pm

I have enough to do here at home. I live in the blue dot of a red state. The most liberal city in Texas. Can you guess where that is? I have a couple of friends here and we want to try to organize counter protests when there are anti everything protests here at home. That should keep us busy! And YES this is a movement. How many people have logged onto the website? Almost 400,000 (some moonbats included).

  20. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 2:18 pm

    gotta be… Houston?

  21. patriot007 on March 23rd, 2007 2:19 pm

Nope, even worse!!! Austin. Hippie town!

  22. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 2:21 pm

ok.. yea.. I forgot about Austin..

  23. Bikini 28 on March 23rd, 2007 2:23 pm

patriot007, you do have bats under the 6th St. bridge and I guess 10 times that in moonbats. I will stand proudly with anyone firmly holding the American Flag in support of our troops and their mission. We are the patriots!

  24. Tony on March 23rd, 2007 2:30 pm

patriot007, There is a program to donate miles to wounded troops so they can get home. I can’t remember the name of the program but I will look it up and see if I can find it. I’m not sure about donating to a Vet, but i’m pretty certain there is one for wounded troops.

  25. Tony on March 23rd, 2007 2:38 pm

    http://www.heromiles.org/donate.html

Here is the website. You donate unused miles to wounded troops families so they can stay with them in the hospital . It also has the list of airlines that participate.

  26. thegerb on March 23rd, 2007 2:40 pm

oook.. I was about to say…

The troops better not need miles/points to get a plane home…

Families…, now that makes more sense.

  27. Tony on March 23rd, 2007 2:44 pm

I know at the begining of the war a wounded Soldier was told to find his own way home. He ended up on an Airforce base in Illinois and didn’t have the money to get any farther. An Airforce Senior Airman gave him the money to get the rest of the way.

  28. patriot007 on March 23rd, 2007 3:15 pm

Thank you for that Tony. Since the airline I use is not listed, I may need to donate mine to a specific vet. If anyone knows of a vet that wants to attend in the future, maybe you can put that person in touch with me. I know how to make reservations for a third party, so that is not a problem. I have been doing that a lot for family, etc. I obviously want to support the troops and their families, but I am really thinking about getting vets to these events.

Regarding the soldier in Illinois, what the hell is that about? I hope someone lost their job over their handling of that situation!!

  29. Brian C on March 23rd, 2007 3:42 pm

    patriot007, thegerb

Oh no..the moonbats wouldnt DARE pop thier heads up in Houston..they wouldnt make it home in one piece!

Heck our SE Texas PGR can get 300 bikers in less than a day for a Welcome Home for a troop..how many do you think they could get to protect a family from a known moonbat threat! We would rally for that family and shield them at a moments notice, thats how the SE Texas guys run things, they dont take any crap! Even though the PGR cant and wont support a “counter protest group” we as individuals would be there “just for the honor”

    Brian C and Bikini 28:

Honoring our troops in Austin WILL happen and I will be in touch with you. Damn, now I have to watch mainstream news stations to know what is going on on Austin!!! Oh well, I have avoided the torture long enough. Does anyone know how scary it is to be a non lib in Austin? Notice the screen name, I am an undercover patriot!! That is just not right, but these people like to burn shit!

  31. wilson on March 23rd, 2007 6:02 pm

Being at the Gathering of Eagles with some friends (all combat vets) made me realize that we are (all) a very tight group, I only thought existed in in combat. What a turnout! I sat on the fence about politics for almost forty years and I realized on Saturday March 17, 2007 that you have to make a choice. You are either on their side or on ours. It’s as simple as that. How can you be a former military Colonel, like Mr. Mulrine and take their side and for what they stand for? It doesn’t make sense, unless he was one of those lifers that didn’t give a fuck about his men then as he doesn’t now. I guess if you pay him, he will care very deeply about you! WC

  32. TStanley on March 23rd, 2007 6:27 pm

I just wanted to say that what you all did, standing up for those who have served and for those who are still serving, is appreciated. To put it simply, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

  33. Kerry "Radar" Leight on March 23rd, 2007 6:33 pm

    PGR Rider 78783,
we’ve HEARD about Texas in Michigan! They started selling “Texas Toilet Paper”, then had to take it right back off the market! They found out it wouldn’t take crap off ANYBODY!!! Let’s hear it for the Lone Star State!!! Eagles up! Radar

  34. Chuck Lambert on March 24th, 2007 9:10 am

Let’s keep that flame burning, gang!!! It just may not be too late to save this country on the home front!!! Perhaps we can grow outward into other areas that we served to preserve such as demanding that our recruiters be treated with respect on school and college campuses. We have two generations of males who didn’t get the chance to be men due to the draft being discontinued and the disgraceful attitude of (some) high school counselors and the cowardly attitude of (most) college faculty.
We should demand that federal funds be withheld from any public institution that discourages recruitment!

  35. Coop on March 24th, 2007 9:29 am

I agree, Chuck, we need to keep the flame burning. But that takes commitment from folks. So far the response to Harry’s call for coordinators has exactly one response. Hopefully it’s just because not too many people have seen it yet.

My son and I would like to get further involved in this effort!
We were at WRMC on March 16th with Free Republic and with GOE March 17th at the Wall.
I’m not sure how coordinated we are..but quite willing to give it a college try!

  37. yorktownguy on March 24th, 2007 1:28 pm

    Letter to Mr. Mulrine:
I saw the video of your exchange with some GOE supporters.
I’m confused as to why a man with your military
achievements chooses to cast his lot with the ANSWER coalition.
The pamphlet was sticking out of your shirt pocket.
Inquiring minds would like to know.

  38. Deborah on March 24th, 2007 1:39 pm

Coop, I know I was trying to sign up this morning right after I saw the post, but the site wouldn’t let me in. Not sure if that was just a problem at my end or not, but it appears to be working now.

  39. Coop on March 24th, 2007 1:56 pm

Thanks for the update, Deborah. Glad to hear it’s working now.

You are all great, I loved reading all of your letters,
we need to stick together, I have been thinking about walking coast to coast ( west to east ) this summer,
any ideas? I need to do this to support the troops and this war, I will have a website set up before I do this,
it will be sometime in july,
    God Bless America

I watched the video of the idiot spitting at one of the GOEs.I couldn’t believe i was seeing a moonbat that stupid and was going to watch again but couldn’t.I must praise the guy that restrained himself and maybe is was because of the persons gender and age.BUT GOD HELP ME,IF THAT HAD BEEN ME I WOULD HAVE KNOCKED HER ASS O-U-T at the very least. As for the Colonel,in my opnion he has disgraced every soldier that had served under his command, especially the ones that had shed blood or worse, given thier lives.I greatly respect the GOE and the standards they go by,i also believe every American has the right of free speech.I personaly will not, cannot restrain myself in instances such as these. As for the Col.,i would guess that there is alot of anger in himself because if he retired at the rank of Colonel, with combat leadership and other higher commands. He would have been under promoted for one reason or another.Shitting on those under your command would be a good one.Being an ex-Commander,he above most would understand the message he is spewing is not support or a moral booster for those in active service.I only served 9 yrs. but it was not hard to know the leaders that cared only about themselves and thier carrers.

  42. Jack hamilton on March 26th, 2007 6:02 am

I respect the Col. Service that is now a lawyer. But the fact is he has badly lost his way.He lied in reference to Walter Reed The men were not thrown in there and forgotten about the troops will them self tell you they received great medical care. The problem was that one building that slipped through the cracks. He may have been a soldier once but he has forgotten honor integrity, You could tell he was all about hatred for Bush and the administration he does not give a damn about the troops. He has become trash because he hangs with trash.

  43. douglas on March 27th, 2007 2:30 am

Heh, proof of lefties spitting at troops. So much for the “it never happened” meme. Still happening, well almost!
