Gathering of Eagles National, Regional, State, and County Coordinator Call

March 24, 2007

************ALERT***********

The Gathering of Eagles March 17, 2007 event in Washington, D.C. has proven Eagles are ready to network for action nationwide. We don’t have a choice.

The anti-America, pro-surrender crowd shrill in the streets and Congress is destroying America…we must prepare to field hundreds of thousands of veterans, spouses, family members and other Americans in single events, or risk losing our nation and the freedom our blood secured. If we don’t, no one else will. There is only one choice…we must hit the streets in such massive numbers it will force leadership and attitude changes in America.

We must pick our battles carefully, but when we do, it must be massive, deliberate, non-violent, without compromise or apology in standing firm for America.

We can do this without a lot of formal organizational stuff that will tie our hands…we need to be free to act and able to contact each other.

A Gathering of Eagles informal national email net is essential and intended as an unofficial, ad hoc effort without bureaucratic entanglements, no dues, no 501C whatevers, but comprised of individuals with the motivation, drive, commitment, as displayed by Eagles on March 17, 2007.

This net is not intended to replace or interfere with any organization, existing communications apparatus, but to be used as an alert net that touches people and organizations across America, a vehicle to call for important/critical action in supporting America, our troops, or other actions as deemed appropriate. This net will function in a chain-of-command fashion.

It’s not clear who or what mechanism will comprise the informal national coordinator/staff but this does not hinder moving toward Regional and State Coordinators across America.

America can be divided into five regions. Thus, we need ten volunteers (five coordinators with five back-up/assistant coordinators) that can devote the time and energy when required, has the expertise to carry out a coordinators function, and assume the responsibility.

Basic responsibility for Regional Coordinators will be to enlist/identify State coordinators for every State in his/her region; keep abreast of events, activities within the region ; identify regional action as necessary; recommend initiatives within a region for national support; be prepared to support other region initiatives; raise funds for regional events; and be prepared to assist national coordinator as requested.

State/back-up/assistant Coordinators will mirror Regional Coordinators responsibility at the State level and develop a coordinator net within each individual State.

The Mission Statement on www.gatheringofeagles.org will reflect the principles of trust that continue to under-gird Gathering of Eagles activities (rallies, marches, other events) or any other undertaking that may be decided to pursue.

Names, email addresses, phone numbers of all coordinators will be maintained on www.gatheringofeagles.org web site as public information.

Those interested in assuming responsibility for any coordinator function (national, regional, state) should leave egos and personal politics behind, ensure you concur with Gathering of Eagles mission principles, volunteer and send a short synopsis of why you desire to serve and the background/personal characteristics you have that fits the job.

Send the volunteer information to Harry Riley, hmriley@cox.net.

Regional Coordinators will be selected at national, any State volunteer information will be held at national and passed to Regional Coordinators after selection for Regional personal selection process.

The United States is divided into five regions. These regions are the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and the West. The states in the five regions are all in the same geographical area of the United States.

There is no pride of ownership in this proposed action, so assume it will be an evolving initiative which the team effort we showed on March 17, 2007 will refine as needed…right now we need commitments and we need them quickly .

I’ve already sent in my contact information. I’d be honored to help in any manner, including as a coordinator if you see fit. I’m moving to the Northeast region this summer.

I’m a Life member of both the DAV (membership director, at present, chapter 85) and the VVA. (past BoD member, `87-`88, chapter 273) I’m gonna concentrate on getting the news out about GOE and “stay in the trenches”, face to face, with my Brothers, Sisters and Supporters. But for heaven’s sake, PLEASE keep me on the national “short-list” of contacts. Chris Sebolt and I ,in Michigan, are doing plenty of sucessful work here and are staying in daily contact. Eagles up! Folks,
“Radar” and I are, indeed, doing what we can and he probably more than I at this point (career, wife, son baby on the way…) but we MUST win the information war at home, change Congress and the Pentagon from top-down to bottom-up approach to warfare (i.e, LISTEN TO THE GODDAMN TROOPS!!!!!) and shut the protesters DOWN.

Radar, if you don’t mind being Michigan’s contact for GOE, I stand by you 100%.

GOE, I want you also to look at Purdue University. Cindy Sheehan will be there on April 12th. Radar, check your email. I made a call for a Michigan QRF to respond!
I’ll start a new thread on the forum about this.

    Colonel Riley,

It was and is a most powerful statement we made to the wacky left of this country at D.C. on the 17th. We need to change this country’s thinking and show the world we are the best America as we have ever been.

There is no time like the present to do this. America awake and overturn apathy.

Chris Sebolt - I am a graduate of Purdue University (BSME 1999) and to know they invited Ms. Sheehan there disappoints me to no end. I am glad that I don’t give any money to them as an alum. Do you know which group invited her there and what she will be doing there? I’ll have to look into this myself, but if you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated. They will be hearing from me when I find out who are the anti-American Communists who invited her.

Cindy Sheehan - “Speaking Peace to Power”

You will notice in the article that one of the sponsors is Indiana Peace and Justice Network. I am wondering if they are a branch of the Communist United for Peace and Justice.

    Hi Ya’ll,
I found the GOE absolutely exhilarating. My 40 years of pent up frustration at the moonbat ilk was almost relieved that day, but it left a taste in me for more. Yup, I saw a bit of confusion, but that was to be expected. Mostly folks did what they wanted to do. Being in a wheelchair, I couldn’t do much at the memorials on the grass, and those areas were filled with patriots, so my dear wife pushed me around to the march route and I exchanged pleasantries with the moonbats.
All in all, it was a success. For the first time in 40 years, the protestors saw the raw power of their opposites. I saw shock on some of their faces at our strength and overwhelming numbers. I saw some shame on the faces of a few moonbats who thought this a lark. This GOE made a terrific statement without our giving in to the media attention tactics the moonbats use. We kicked butt, or would have given the opportunity. I had an adrenaline high not felt since Nam…and I want MORE!
The future for GOE is so bright we must wear shades.
    Eagles Rule!!

Kit - Have heard your named mentioned many times but wasn’t sure who you were and what you did. Now I knw and I want to express my thanks for all you and the others involved did, are doing and will continue to do.

I guess I wasted my breath on Michael Doser, but I like you wanted to respond to his rant. If he were truly a patriot he would have apologized by now. Too bad. Had you responded before me I’d have stood down as you have the real skinny on the GoE.

I don’t feel I’m coordinator material but would like to help if there is something I can do to further the cause of GoE.

I was one of the “Orange Shirts” on 17/3. I started the day at the WWII Memorial. Code Pink staged out of the area immediately adjacent to the Memorial and though their supporters did not cause any trouble it was mainly due to their surprise at seeing a couple dozen Eagles arranged about the Memorial. Maybe they would not have defaced the Memorial if we had not been there, but who is prepared to take that chance? I must admit it felt somewhat like being stationed in Okinawa in 1968, but the Mission must come first, regardless of personal preference.

A.N.S.W.E.R. is a coalition of groups who respond to each other’s needs. They do not necessarily agree with each other in any way except the fact that they hate what has made the country great. That was evident when my Marshall detachment was moved to the parade route staging area at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial. I was finally in the fight, and while it cheered me to see so many of my brothers waving flags and cheering the USA, it pained me to hear the antis tell us that we “don’t look like America, they do” and that “we don’t supprt the troops, they do.”

Had we not been there in the force we were, you can bet that the police presence would have been smaller and something would have been defaced. It is simply the history of these groups that they respect nothing but greater force. The Gathering Mission was completed because people came from wherever they were and did whatever they were asked in the truest spirit of the American fighting man. I was honord to be a part of the Mission and stand ready to function further in whatever way it is judged I can best serve. Thank you for letting me be a part of the day and the Movement. Manchu.

I think it’s safe to say that many had the same attitude and resolve that I had.

It mattered not how many would make it. I was determined to make my presence felt and show my solidarity with those would be defending our war memorials.

I fully expected to be vastly outnumbered by the opposition. I can’t adequately express the elation I felt as I realized our number was not only equal to the America haters but was continuing to grow throughout the morning hours.

How anyone could come away with anything but a positive reinforcement of one’s resolve to stand against the tide of the far left is beyond me.

  29. Dan Weaver on March 25th, 2007 2:04 pm

I think it’s great that GOE was there the 17th. I’ve heard stories of the moonbats at the previous rallies charging in mass to the Nam memorial only to be stopped by the police.

I am nobody special, just a Vietnam era veteran. US Navy. I was in for 4 years. I was there on March 17, in the company of thousands of Americans whose purpose was to show our sons and daughters in Iraq and Afghanastan that we stand with them here at home. We took a stand against those who turned America against us during Vietnam. They are still in the business of turning America on those who are willing to fight. In congress, the lunatics are running the asylum. Things don’t look good. I have heard it said that the anti American crowd don’t have jobs and the pro Americans do, so there aren’t so many pro American demonstrations. We’d better get our fellow Americans to see that if they don’t become involved, and make some sacrifices, there won’t be a job to go to one day. Those who act are getting things done, to the detrement of this country. It is a shame that it comes to this, that this country is driven by marches and protests instead of through the ballot box. But we have to adapt. We have to play by the new rules, and beat them at their own game. I was proud to be there on that cold windy day. Thank you all.

  32. Major Bill Donahue USMC Ret on March 25th, 2007 3:46 pm

Two vehicles of us drove through a horribly rainy, foggy & cold day to D.C. on Friday. We didn’t even check into our motel rooms (Best Western Pentagon, by the way, one of the worst motels we’ve ever stayed at) but, rather, went straight to the Holiday Inn where the organizational elements were trying to be organized.

Kit Jarrell and I met, face-to-face, for the first time Friday night outside the bar area at the Holiday Inn. She had once served on my organization’s “Warrior Fund” Board but only very briefly. She sent her resignation from that Board to me an an email citing my “poor judgment and leadership” as her reasons for resigning. (We had had numerous telephone converastions when she was a Board member, and, a multitude of emails). I was, in a word, shocked to receive her resignation but moreso for the “reason” she cited in her email. So, I developed an “opinion” of her own judgment as a result; outspoken (definately yes. Articulate but pointedly painful at times). Opinionated definately yes. Dedicated to our Armed Forces - without a doubt, definately (she served briefly in the Air Force)and she has told me & others her husband is a Marine Staff Sergeant.

But my first-hand experience with Kit during her brief tenure on our Board has lead me to believe that she is not at all careful about jumping to conclusions about peoples true character. “Hip-shooter” was a term she earned while serving on our Board.

I print this only to illuminate where her mindset might be (with no intention to impune her personal character or integrity) with regards to her lengthy response to the “critical post’ herein to Michael. She simply loves argument and confrontation. (I, too, would like to see a financial accounting as we donated at least two thousand dollars and we could be called to account for our contribution)

Moving on, I witnessed, first hand, the confusion at the Holiday Inn.

We (members of my organization) went to D.C. with the explicit understanding that we would be serving GOE in the Comm Tent as communicators.

But trying to establish “Command & Control” communications Friday night was a tremdous challenge. Hand-held radios had been provided by Gene Clayton (a fine gentleman) but an actual “plan” as to how to employ them, under what conditions, what comm protocols to be used…and much more…was not in place when we arrived. Confusion - and more than a few big egos - were in play.

And, as it proved out to be, any plan was very very difficult (moreso than necessary) to establish by the singular fact that literally every step had to gain the pre-approval of one person who had her hands full with virtually every other aspect up there, even though those of us who did step forward were highly experienced “communicators” with extensive combat experience in such matters as well as good organizational skill sets.

Eventually, a half-dozen or so individuals came together Friday night to establish some sort of “working plan” to handle communcations during Saturdays event. This involved “gridding” a map provided by “Tim”, developing and printing “Brevity Code” sheets for those who would have radios and much more. To include several hasty trips to Kinkos for printing of materials.

Having found - and designated - some volunteer marshals, we met around 07:00 at the Comm tent.

Had it not been for a small handful of vets who walked up to the Comm tent to volunteer to “do anything”, it would have been much more difficult as the day wore on. (I wish I had the names and contact info on all who served in the Comm tent…they were outstanding!)

I “walked the perimeter” at least five times Saturday. The plates, bolts and screws in my busted up/reconstructed left leg, and the shrapnel in my foot, kept telling me so. Everywhere I went, our side appeared to out number the “dark side”. I’ve seen the number of 30,000 of us thrown about. I don’t give that number much validity. The Park Service certainly has not - and never has - announced any numbers for either side. Media reporters (due to their ilk) gave us comparatively small numbers. From my own observations - and from what I’ve been able to discern from the more than three hours of video I’ve seen - my hunch is that we had somewhere between 10,500-14,000 show up on our side. Certainly more than my eyes saw of the dark side. But I could certainly be wrong. But regardless the number, we (collectively) did something almost unheard of. We met the dark side in their faces. I doubt they were even partially prepared for us.

A few unseemly “incidents” threatened the day. Over the radio net, I heard (as the CommO) of a developing problem at the Korean War Memorial. I had our dispatchers quickly but quietly move a small group from one place to that Memorial. The incident never became manifest. Great action on the part of those veterans who responded to our movement call.

An other potential incident involved a 19 year old boy (yes, boy) and his 16 year olf girl friend. Both were more than half way stoned. sloven in appearance and moving quickly to becoming full blown drugged out. They were walking down Constitution Avenue, stopped every 50 feet or so, trying to “agitate” veterans and others. I followed them for more than 150 yards. I lost sight of these two jerks for a few moments and after seeing them again, walked up to them. I noted blood on the girls left thumb and forefinger. I then saw the knuckles on her boyfriends left hand. They were nicely chewed up and bloody. (I later heard - but can’t validate - that the boy had tried to strike a veteran but that the vet had ducked and the boy hit a tree with his fist). Anyway, my first thought was “aids”, given their sloven appearance and drugged-up state. I told the girl that she simply had to get her boyfriend to an ambulance. When she druggedly resisted, I summoned an officer on horseback. He took them off and they weren’t seen or heard of again.

There were five other reported minor incidents but in the end, everyone in support of GOE handled themselves superbly.

A full blown After Action Report (AAR in miltary jargon) should be pulled together with “lessons learned”.

Future such events require a much better approach to:
    1. Command, Control and Communication (experienced leadership, leadership & leadership),
    2. Logistics (a wide ranging but critical area requiring an experienced logistician),
    3. Security (we brought eight additional radios to back up what Gene provided but six of them disappeared. And, according to a phone call I received from Pat Cantrell last Thursday, a jar with some money in it also disappeared. Even one of our tent communicators had his lunch bucket disappear)

For a “quickly thrown together” event, I feel all went quite well.

A final note: setting aside our personal disagreements with each other, I heard that Kit’s version of our National Anthem drew a lot of accolades. I am sorry I didn’t hear her sing - it was not on purpose - but I would appreciate it very much if anyone taped it and would set me in the right direction to see and hear it.

  33. patriot007 on March 25th, 2007 4:26 pm

I hope we can stick together here. The moonbats will have a field day if they think we are starting to have internal struggles. I personally regret NOT having an armband at the gathering. (I wasn’t being cheap, I just spaced out trying to get my trip from Texas scheduled FAST.) No one knew which group I was with.

I never wondered what happened to the money I donated however. I just assumed it went to the staging, bathrooms, etc. I am much more concerned with what is happening with the taxes I pay….like supporting a socialist agenda….

I am here to serve if needed.

Great article in Canada Free Press today.
They have been steadfast in supporting the Gathering of Eagles.

I was the one who tipped them off about the possible “Doctored photos” on the ANSWER website which is causing quite a debate in Free Republic. I like her analysis refering to the photos as “Duped”

I had received credible reports that the moonbats were planning by the thousands to raid our sacred memorials. I saw a group of guys with sledge hammers a few blocks away and heard one report of a guy with a bulldozer idling nearby waiting for an opportunity, which fortunately never occurred because of the devout vigilance of the GOE. I was prepared to risk life and limb to fend them off. Were it not for the GOE this would have happened. I propose that we have GOE members round the clock to protect the Nam memorial-who knows when those slimy moonbats will sneak back in to dishonor the memorial.

I know their true motives. They say they support the troops by bringing them home (a load of crap)–they hate America!

  46. TheGerb on March 26th, 2007 6:45 am

    Sledges, ok… Id buy that…

    A bulldozer?? Propaganda at best I think…

    Agreed that they hate America.

This non vet stood alongside the patriots at GOE event that cold and windy day. The feeling of pride I experienced that day was priceless. The forty bucks and travel costs were inconsequential compared to the returns. I look forward to the next gathering. I hope this MIke guy stays home so that I do not read anymore of his negative feedback.

Time to return to the mission. Anything that I can do in the “People’s Republic of Massachusetts”?

I would be able to help in the Central Florida Area, I don’t know if I am qualified to be a Coordinator but would love to help in any way that I can. My daughter is serving in Iraq and I just can’t stand the thought of her coming home to a bunch of moonbats, while we sit silently and not let them all know that we are here and support them.

  50. Bill Casto on March 26th, 2007 8:53 am

I have a very short comment. Always remember that volunteers are a very special breed of people and are very very hard to find. We must all work together so we can achieve our objectives. Thanks

Dunno. I’m happy to help out where needed. As far as cybersmacking moonbats, that’s simply an enjoyable hobby. Why mix work with pleasure? :-)

Yea, but you have such a certain style… theyd be fools not to tap into that!

WE NEED ALIED SUPPORT. Many many nations support the mission of the Gathering of Eagles. They too have military deployed, like Bitian and Austraila. If the anti-war bafoons can organize a global coalition, which include countries like france, why can we organize some alied support for our cause?

GOE Complaint Thread [moved from main website]

The thread is two pages long and going strong.

Don’t forget, if you have not yet registered for the forum, that is a separate process unrelated to this website. So you are welcome to register over there and join the fray.

  59. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 10:33 am

GOE made a grown man cry. I just came back from lunch with a friend, where I was discussing GOE1. The man was sitting behind me with his wife and overheard some of the conversation. I was tapped on the back and he asked “what group are you talking about”? I went on to explain, for about 5 minutes, my experience in DC with GOE and he listened to every word. He then asked, “was this a one time thing” and when I said no, he started tearing up. I wrote GOE’s web site address on a napkin and I’m sure we will be hearing from him, and his wife, soon. Their names, Tom and Doris(might have been Deloris) and he is a Nam Army Vet from the late 60’s, currently vacationing here in Florida. I think learning about GOE just made his vacation that much better.

  60. Redhead Infidel on March 26th, 2007 10:35 am

Dan Weaver, you have received no such thing.

To everyone else, Dan Weaver is a plant. Don’t bother replying.

Very nice story, Deborah. Thanks for sharing!

  62. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 11:00 am

How about someone making some GATHERING OF EAGLES bumper stickers with the web address on them. I’ll buy some and put them on every vehicle in my family. Also, would it be a problem if I made up cards with the GOE web address and handed them out? If you all posted a GOE card design, I’d print them as I needed them.

  63. D. Chris Sebolt on March 26th, 2007 11:07 am

    Deborah,
Business Cards are a great idea for us to deal with. Someone with some skills out there could do some up for one of those Avery word templates and we can just print our own out if the file is provided to us!
    Chris

  64. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 11:10 am

Thanks Coop. I see you’ve been holding down the fort. We can all do our part, and you’re wonderful at dealing with the moonbats. I try to sit on my hands for about 3 hours before I respond, so by the time I’m ready to post, you’ve zinged them and any response from me would just be piling on. Well that, and I’m normally laughing so hard over your response I couldn’t type anyways. :-)

  65. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 11:13 am

Bingo Chris…I don’t have the graphic experience to generate something like that….but I can work a copier. Also, if its something that I could put on a disk, I’d take it to Office Max and get them to order me a box.

  66. Coop on March 26th, 2007 11:34 am

    Gerb,
You should be proud of yourself. What a great idea to put into words what you experienced and how you feel….and to actually find a publication that would give you that outlet. Makes me sit here and think what more I can do to help GOE.
    Bravo Zulu!

    Gerb,

    Ya done GOOD!!!

  74. D. Chris Sebolt on March 26th, 2007 12:47 pm

    Deborah,
As I think this thru, it seems there are websites out there with designs ready to go. I’ll look into that. I recal one that had a background with the American Flag on the left side and was really clean and slick. I’m off to search. You guys keep the banter up and ignore any of the turds should they, er, roll thru! :)

    Semper Fi,
    Chris

  75. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 12:51 pm

Chris, I was thinking of the GOE Banner that’s at the top of this page, with the web site address along the bottom in white print. We already have that design in place, and with the attention its already received, I would be concerned with using a different design and keeping the focus on GOE

  76. Coop on March 26th, 2007 1:00 pm

Great job, Gerb! And now I understand the screen name. :-)

It just shows what one person can do alone. Imagine how many readers are now aware of our efforts, folks who previously hadn’t heard of us. And how many of them will come to our website. And how many will tell friends, neighbors, etc.

I realize not everyone is comfortable writing, but we all can and should do more to spread the word and take our country back.

I found it especially interesting how we’re both Desert Storm vets and both attended with our Navy Vietnam veteran fathers.

  77. D. Chris Sebolt on March 26th, 2007 1:03 pm

    Deborah,
Oh sure, I run off all excited and you SMASH my poor widdle head. ;) LOL! Actually I agree using actual GOE graphics is exactly the best way to go. Only thing is I have no budget so wanted to use the offer at this site:
    http://www.printsmadeeasy.com/free-business-cards.html
to get a first order of 100 cards free, just paying the shipping. They have a nice patriotic one in the “Most Popular” section of their card templates.

  78. TheGerb on March 26th, 2007 1:08 pm

  83. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 1:55 pm

Very nice job Chris. That’s exactly what I had in mind. Now, I wonder what the powers to be think of our idea, cause I’m ready to place an order unless they think they can hook us up with an official GOE graphic that we can get in the same price range.

  84. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 1:59 pm

    Chris,
I like how Gerb did his web address with the http://www.gatheringofeagles.org instead of the http://gatheringofeagles.org

  85. Donald (Chris) Sebolt on March 26th, 2007 2:05 pm

Thanks folks. I figure $7.95 shipping for 100 free is what, 8 cents a piece? It practically GIVES me 100 cards to start handing to people who have never heard of GOE. Gotta start somewhere!
GERB, I like yours too. Maybe a solid background over the type set layers to make them stand out from the background? Regardless, we’re getting nowhere unless we’re handing SOMETHING out.
    Chris

  86. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 2:14 pm

Chris, don’t forget a minimum order is 500 for 44.99 and then add the free 100 for an additional 7.95 s&h.

    so 600 for 52.94

  87. Coop on March 26th, 2007 2:18 pm

Roflmao, there’s a reason why men should not shop…:-)

  88. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 2:21 pm

LOL, well when she sleeps in like that, of course the great sales will be all gone.

  95. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 2:40 pm

Chris, I am hoping that the GOE folks can post a design that we can download and copy as needed for ourselves. Some light weight card stock from any office store works perfect and we could print them out as we need them from our home computer. That way, I think the cards might be more readily available to a wider group of Eagles.

  96. Dane "Assholio" Brown on March 26th, 2007 3:47 pm

  111. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 6:47 pm

Kathy, thank you so much. I just printed out 8 (used the wrong lable file) and then got 10 more once I found the business card file. Now, if I can just keep from cutting off my fingers with the paper cutter, I’ll be in business. The first 8 looked just a tab light, but the next 10 look very professional.

  112. Deborah on March 26th, 2007 6:48 pm

I may it work once, don’t ask me how…but hopefully I’ll get lucky again…or borrow a neighbors teenager to do it. Now the paper cutter thing is a whole nother thing…hope I get lucky again there. :-)

  117. Erin on March 26th, 2007 7:35 pm

If you want to print business cards, you can also try vistaprint dot com– they also have a few patriotic pre-made cards that you can print for low expense, and they do take camera-ready artwork. Also, if you’re afraid to cut your fingers off with a paper cutter, you can get perforated or “clean edge” cards at the local office supply store and just tear them along the lines after you print them.

Great idea for the cards… I have cards for my military support organization that I hand out and sometimes leave on cars… I love the idea of a GOE bumper sticker, there is a merchandise site linked to this one but it seems to be disabled, at at least was last I tried to access it.

  122. John from LI on March 26th, 2007 10:32 pm

Erin suggested vistprint.com as a source for business cards. For the past several years I have ordered cards from them. They always have specials [to the point where I wonder how they make any money] so you could pick up some cards for a good price.

(BTW, the business cards I use in my law practice have an American flag in the background. This is one of the standard cards they have available. I do not recall if they have an eagle.)

  123. John from LI on March 26th, 2007 10:41 pm

I just went on the vistaprint website. THEY DO HAVE AN EAGLE! It’s in the law enforcement/patriotic section of their standard logos.

  124. Kimberly77077 on March 26th, 2007 10:41 pm

Speaking of moonbats, I had a very disagreable run in today with one of those code pink morons here in Houston, apparently she didn’t like my “Freedom isn’t Free” magnet… she pulled around me and then cut me off with her little grey Ford truck with all her peace and love bumper stickers… It was probably a good thing I got caught by the red light because I really wanted to do something rather evil.

Just let me know!

  129. Deborah on March 27th, 2007 7:33 am

I just fired off an email to FOXNews and Bill O’Reilly asking for Bills reaction to the video of the anti American protester spitting on the VET during GOE. Just curious, but do we know who the vet is? I would like to hear from him and others that witnessed the act.

I had posted the video on Veterans@yahoogroups.com and got lots of positive email in response from vets who were sick of hearing they were lying when they said it happened to them, and only one negative from a man stating it was a set up by GOE.

Since it is on video, and spitting is an assault, has anyone thought of pressing charges against the woman? The video is clear enough to get a pretty good frame of the woman’s face. With all the video that was taken that day, she should be able to be recognized in other pics also. After 40 years of denial, I’d like to see an example made of this woman.

  130. Coop on March 27th, 2007 10:29 am

    Hey Gerb and Deborah,

It’s kinda quiet in here without all the moonbats freaking out over our freedom of speech, huh?

  131. Deborah on March 27th, 2007 10:38 am

    Coop,
shhhhhh you may invoke them back here…. Actually, I think they took a licking….and stopped ticking.

  132. Deborah on March 27th, 2007 10:45 am

Did anyone else catch Fox’s coverage of the anarchists burning the US Troop in effigy, burning an American Flag or one protester defecating on an American Flag?

They even interviewed a radio spokesman from the Portland area to give his view of the community and their reaction to the actions of the protesters.

Apparently there has not been one bit of outrage from local politicians speaking out against the actions of the protesters.

Hopefully EAGLES from that area will become a presence at these anti American protest in the future.

  133. Coop on March 27th, 2007 10:57 am

It quieted down tremendously after seeing our one foreign friend’s IP address and doing a little snooping. :-)

As far as the jerk who literally crapped on a burning American flag, I sent out the photo to my E-mail distro list this morning. I had “disturbing photo” in the subject line, but it makes much more of an impact IMHO for folks to see the “peace” activists in action than simply reading or hearing about it.

I’m glad I was not in the vicinity of this horrendous display. Let’s just leave it at that.

    Here’s the disgusting photo:

    http://bp0.blogger.com/_1xPqeSkGKZU/Rgg_XGy6_II/AAAAAAAAAIQ/77I3wrGMsq8/s400/protester+poops+on+American+Flag+GI.JPG

Remember, when looking at it, that Peace is Patriotic!

  135. Coop on March 27th, 2007 11:04 am

And to head off any whiny accusations of “It’s a hoax!” or whatever, here’s a report from the Portland Tribune (which I’m guessing ain’t exactly a right-wing rag!).

    Rudeness Mars Peace Message
    http://www.portlandtribune.com/opinion/story.php?story_id=117459283544877600

…[p]erhaps the most disturbing scene of the afternoon, however, involved the man who pulled down his pants in front of women and children and defecated on a burning U.S. flag. This disgusting act actually elicited cheers from some members of the crowd, but we hope that the emotion it produces in the community is one of revulsion…

Let me know if our “peace patriots” ever reach the revulsion stage, okay?

Coop, I’m speechless. I see a kid in the picture and at least 4 folks are taking pictures. I wonder where the police were that day.

Based on what was said on FOX today, here 10 days later there is no outrage from local government regarding everything that happened in Portland on the 17th.

  139. thegerb on March 27th, 2007 11:33 am

Coop, I agree with you…. If I had been there, it wouldnt have happened.

The moonbats can only lie about 17th. If you google Eagle thugs or Rolling Thunder thugs you see their lies. They try to put it as they were a Sunday school class of age 6 to 8 year old kids and we were the mean brutal thugs. I was there on the 17th and did not see what they rave about. Oh! it is their Fear speaking lies. They are even scaring future moonbats from facing Eagles! Everyone have a great day!

  143. Coop on March 27th, 2007 12:09 pm

    Bikini and others,

Kristinn got a rebuttal to some moonbat letters to the editor in today’s Washington Post. Wanna have some fun? Go over and post on the blog. Some of them are beside themselves. [grin]

Yes, I’m Coopbsure, and I’m also bummed that their blog doesn’t accept .html formatting and auto deletes (apparently) any URLs citing sources. So a couple of my posts are difficult reads, and that’s my excuse! :-)

DEAR VET’S,, WE NEED TO SEE MORE PHOTOs THAT SHOW OUR VOLUME OF EAGLES AT GoE ON THE 17th. WE KNOW THE MEDIA BURNED THEIRS !!!

  149. John from LI on March 27th, 2007 2:20 pm

Wait a minute folks. Exactly who is for “peace”? Are the clowns chanting slogans, trying to get our troops out of Iraq before the job is done really for peace? Or, are the folks who want to see a stable middle East, with no threat to American security, the real peace advocates?

No sane person is in favor of war. It is a terrible thing to have American men and women being sent into combat. But, the alternative, letting the middle east turn into a regional conflict, is worse. For that reason, we have to let our troops get the job done.

Some of us believe that the job must be done correctly now. Othewise, in the future, it will take more American blood, more American treasure, and more American anguish. So, if someone asks what we are doing and why we are doing it, tell them that we want the troops to come home to stay, not just some temporary “redeployment” [or whatever word they are using to describe cut and run] that is sure to cost us more in the long run.

In other words, tell anyone who asks that the Eagles are the real peace demonstrators.

  150. thegerb on March 27th, 2007 2:26 pm

Agreed John. Problem is, as soon as you say that, they will show you the guy (who Im sure meant well) holding the “peace sux” sign…

  158. R. Long on March 28th, 2007 5:36 am

    John from LI

You say we should not leave “until the job is done”. What job is left? Saddam is dead. There are no WMD’s (that was a lie)! The Iraqi Al Qeada chapter formed AFTER we came. The population does not want us there. So WHY are we still there? To partition the nation or referee it’s civil war? To secure the oil reserves? You tell me what it is! You are a denier of reality if you think that this has anything to do with 911. “Victory” is not happening. Wake up! We lost in Iraq. We lost because the White House lied and continues to lie about its intentions. Yes we should declare “victory” now, leave and cut our losses. Call it cut and run. Call me a terrorist, moonbat (define that by the way please), scumbag, etc. I don’t care. What I do care about is that our soldiers lives and national treasure are being used to kill and plunder for something far beyond vengeance for 911.

  159. R. Long on March 28th, 2007 5:51 am

    John from LI,

Here’s at little history to add to my prior comments.

George W. Bush’s Iraq War, is really a manifestation of then Carter Doctrine. Enunciated by then-President Jimmy Carter in his State of the Union speech in January 1980, the doctrine defines Persian Gulf oil as a “vital interest” of the United States that must be defended “by any means necessary, including military force.” Seen in this light, Bush Jr. was merely applying the doctrine when he invaded Iraq in 2003. Reagan used it for the Iran-Iraq war and Bush Sr. used it in the Gulf war.

The “War on Terror” is a convenient cloak for the Iraq adventure. Were Bush unable to convice the people of a 911/Iraq connection he could not have had a chance to sell the war.

What a shame and a sham. Imagine how the hundreds of billions could have been spent in a constructive way by improving mileage and developing alternate energy sources instead of protecting the dying (albeit profitable) oil industry.

  160. Coop on March 28th, 2007 5:54 am

Gerb, what’s this about the lawyers?

  161. Larry G.H. on March 28th, 2007 7:37 am

I have watched the spitting incident and now the vile photo of some scum shitting on the flag.I know the mission of the GOE is a peaceful stand of protecting our monuments and support of our troops, but we also need a faction of physical response to these type of actions.I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM RE-ARRANGING THAT BITCHES FACE AND TO BE TRUTHFUL I WOULD PROBABLY BE IN JAIL FOR MANSLAUGHTER IF I WAS PRESENT WHEN THE SCUM SQUATTED TO SHIT ON THE FLAG.WE NEED TO IDENTIFY THESE ACTIVIST.Identify them and post flyiers in thier communities to exspose thier actions. The GOE should be the banner of our mission but we also NEED A GROUP that is willing to physically respond when neccessary.WE ALSO NEED TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE CONGRESS AND HOUSE TO STOP PLAYING WITH THE LIVES OF OUR TROOPS.They have gone way beyond the so called mandate of the last elections and i predict they will lose the majority in the next elections if they do not acknowledge the movement the GOE started on 3/17 & if they haven’t noticed,we need to write them to remind them they serve the American people and the Majority of the people want support for our troops WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

  162. Kimberly77077 on March 28th, 2007 7:43 am

    Gerb,
Whatever you need a lawyer for, make sure you plead temporary insanity… :D We will all be happy to testify that the moonbats made you crazy :)

  163. Kimberly77077 on March 28th, 2007 7:56 am

    Larry,
There are many of us who have been writing to congress regularly, but until their are enough voices, they aren’t going to listen. If we could get 30,000 to send letters to congress maybe they would sit up and take notice. For anyone interested http://www.congress.org allows you to email your congress people. It just takes a few minutes to tell them what you think. It does work, I have heard back from both of my Senators.

  164. Larry G.H. on March 28th, 2007 8:31 am

Kimberly,i also have written both my Congress & House of Representatives, and i will continue to do so.If the GOE or any Pro-Troop group could get a few celebrities to join and speak out the Pro-Majority stand,it would greatly help in making our voices heard.I know more than a few have entertained our troops. These are the ones the leadership of GOE and others should be contacting. We know the mainstream media are pro-fonda & shehann and anti-war,but even they would have to acknowledge pro-troop celebs.

  166. R. Long on March 28th, 2007 10:24 am

Why are we still in Iraq boys and girls? Saddam is dead, no WMD’s and the al Qeada Iraq chapter opened after we arrived.

In fact, we would not be in Iraq were it not for the Carter Doctrine in 1980 that said protecting Mid-East oil is part of our national security. It is just not worth our blood and treasure to unilaterally invade sovereign nations for black gold. The hundreds of billions spent would have been better used improving mileage standards and developing alternative energy sources.

If you guys are going to protest, do it for constructive change, not to support the oil oligarchs. After all, they offer no stock options for our troops and you won’t find their sons in Ramadi.

THE NAVY LOST THE SAME AS OUR 4 YEAR LOSSES , IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF THE SAIPAN OPERATION! LET’S BREAK OUR LOSSES DOWN TO A MONTHLY AVERAGE…67 LOST EVERY 30 DAYS. Coop & Fiends,
While much of what’s to follow has been stated time & time again in this forum, perhaps coming at the whole subject from another angle will help just one more person decide if it is time to stand up and let the silent be heard. I pray that those on the left, the moonbats, if you will, read these ramblings and for a moment, just a moment, consider something & someone other than themselves.
First let’s consider the hatered this group, from Hillary on down, or is it on up, has for our President. Is it the “stolen” election or the fact that he is a Christian that troubles them so? The facts are the Miami Herold did the recount & like it or not folks, Mr Gore lost, hanging chads & all. Now that, is an inconventient truth! ” But He’s a Christian” they smirk. Just the fact that they would find fault with a man who believes in something bigger than himself shows just how far left these people have gone. That in & of itself should scare the hell out of us. Wait one, it’s the big lie, the WMDs. Wrong again folks, they convently forget the 500 canistors refered to in the above posting. “Well it was only 500 canisters.” Well lets just expose 50 of your family members to one of those containers. “Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11.” And the KKK has nothing to do with the Aryan Nation. Time to wake up. Observe what is happening around you. Don’t just swallow what some college professor is telling you. You will have no choice when you are forced to leave that little ivory tower you are now sheltered in where everyone is a winner and you are never “IT”
We ask why the media does not give us a fraction of the attention they give to the leftists, It’s really pretty simple folks; the squeaky wheel gets the oil, always has always will. While GOE was a tremendous start, we must each pledge that it was just that, a start. We can & will make a differance but I’m sorry to say that differance will not come from chatting with like mined folks via the world wide web. The web is a tack hammer we must pick up the sledge! I salute Kimberly & Larry for their suggestion to contact our servants, and never forget they are our servants, on Capital Hill. If I may be so bold as to suggest real/snail mail as opposed to e-mail. As Legislative/Governmental Affairs Chairman of my area Rolling Thunder chapter, I have had a much better response rate when contacting the offices in DC the old fashioned way. I have been told this is because a letter is preceived as having more thought attached to it. True or not it seems to make sense and I can tell you it seems to be true in my case. I suspect it has more to do with the fact that having to HANDLE dozens or hundreds or thousands of letters, sort them into piles by subject matter then read them then tabulate them makes much more of an impression then a long list of e-mails that can be deleted with the simple click of a mouse. Or maybe it’ part of that vast right wing conspiracy thing. “Make ‘em buy more stamps, and envelopes too, that’s how we’ll destroy the middle class! HA HA HA HA !!!”
If each person who visited this sight wrote just a couple of letters a month, we would be well on our way to taking that next step. Want to make a differance, REALLY ? Then promise yourself you will write your servants once a month for the next six months. That’s about 3 hours of your time and less than ten bucks in stamps & them paper things you put them in. You can and will get results.
Now on to the “peace movement.” I’m going to give those I saw in DC on the 17th the benefit of the doubt and say maybe a third of those folks on the wrong side of the street were there for the stated purpose. Make no mistake the bulk of those you saw are in fact socialists, marxists and the like. They hide behind masks because many fear that if there capitalist parents saw them in this setting the purse strings may very well be tied shut. Others are there to receive college credit while classmates on the right side of the street are denied those same credits. Don’t believe that? Audit a class or two at your local campass, you may be stunned by what you hear & see.
I, almost fondly, remember the peace movement of the 60s And 70s when the hippies put flowers in rifle barrels and the Weathermen & the SDS actually had the courage, balls, whatever, to stand up look in the lens and say that their goal was to overthrow our government. These kids hide behind the peace movement and sadly don’t know how lucky they are to live where they do. When mommy & daddy finally cut the apron strings and they must earn there own way and face the harsh reality of life, it’s going to hit them in the face like a baseball bat.
If at least they could get their facts straight I may listen and maybe even respect their point of view. But when THE spokesperson for the WWC, states that 650,000 Iraq citizens have died in the war and the facts show that is about 10 times the real number, you have to wonder. When confronted with her mistake, the response was predictable. “Well, well, is 65,000 an acceptable number to you?” No, it is not acceptable but, and may God forgive me, better there than Chicago, Los Angles, or even Portland or dare I say it; San Fran. They say war only as a very last resort. Well who makes that decision? If 3000 innocent people blown into litttle pieces isn’t a reason what is? 10,0000 100,0000 a million? How about the hundreds of thousands of Kurds murdered by their own government. Someone much wiser than I once said, “we have been told so many times that violence is not the answer to everything that we have come to believe it is the answer to nothing. Oh for life to be as simple as the left would have us to beleive.
If those on the wrong side of the street are so upset with sensless death; do something about the 17,0000+ who die every year from DWI car wrecks. Note I didn’t say accidents. Time to shut down the roadways.
So while I do not have the answers to these simple minded, vile mouthed children, I’m comforted by the words of my friend Dougls R. who taught me “life is too short to try to teach a jackass how to sing”
One day we will all live in peace and harmony, but it will not be on this earth while children are used as weapons and insane parents worship them as marters.
Thanx for letting me vent. May God bless us all especially those who have known the horror of war so that we may sleep in peace. I’ll jump down; for now.

I twisted off pretty hard on Fox Cable in a scathing email. I essentially asked, “Where were you?” and “Where are you?” Told them they was spin Control Doctors! You have to provide anews worthy action before anyone pays attention to it. “Bring me some details and photo’s and we’ll look into it.”
Screw that. Bush got it right. You’re either for America or against it. I just took a deep breathe and will not go off on a rant about his subject.
As for membership or cards, I’d like to see two cards. One for information for handing out to people and one for Bonerfiday members. Just think…a card carrying GoE member with an authoriztion number on it. Either of the Eagle cards could be utilized, using the back for membership.
Come to think on it, from some previous events I’ve been to, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to also have a name tag with picture of said subject which would enhance security at gatherings.
    “No card Bro?”
    “I ain’t got one yet!”
“Well go to tent so and so and register!”
One more pain in the neck, but I think it would be worth the effort and quantify members and supporters.
    Just food for thought.

I didn’t want to mix comments, but I have a real Problem with the Pilosyites (had to spell it that way) curtailing to the enemy. “Calm down, take a breathe and realize there’s a new sherrif in town, it’s called the Democratic Party!”
They Dem house hasn’t had a speaker in a long time that I didn’t want to just drop kick through the goal posts of life! For an old fat burnt out, wore out broke down Jarhead, I still got a temper and a strong pride and belief in suporting our troops and well as the president. Right, wrong or indifferant, the Prez is doing something to keep us out of harms way as a Nation.
The growing awakening from our to long slumber in apathy as patriots is not only long over due, but scaring the hell out of a lot of people. Which is as it should be. Old Ben was the one who said the government should fear the people wasn’t he?
the problem has been that those of us who sincerly care, well, a lot of people any how, just felt like they were alone or so out numbered a fight wasn’t the right thing to do.
GoE in DC showed that a fight isn’t even necesary. just standing up and saying Shut up is more than enough to intimidate the Moonbats who have flown unchallenged for too long.
These are the people from my generation or their kids with out the fortitude to stand for anything. So they fall for the cowards way out. I think it’s Arron Tippin who sings ‘You got to stand for SOMETHING or you’ll fall for ANYTHING!”
