Tonight on The Front Line: A Marine Live From Iraq

Tonight I’ll be talking to Marine CPL Rob Smith, with Regimental Combat Team 2 in Al-Asad, Iraq. He is on his third combat tour, and at the age of 21 is in charge of a fire team, entrusted with the lives of other Marines under fire. He served under 2LT Ilario Pantano, and has distinguished himself several times in combat. That’s not counting his close call–which you’ll hear about tonight.

It will truly be an honor to talk with CPL Smith, and I especially look forward to hearing his opinion on Harry Reid and the Democratic Congress–as well as Gathering of Eagles!     CPL Smith, I salute you and your fellow servicemen and women. You are the wind under our wings. We thank ya’ll from the bottom of our hearts for the sacrifice that you endure to keep us safe. It’s the dedication that we fellow vets understand and appreciate. Like Jim said, we got your six back here.

    Thank you for your service. As one of the Thousands at the Gathering Of Eagles,17 March,We all need to call out these so call Senator’s and Crogress member’s making the remarks that have only place are Military in more Danger.We already have one War that was given away because of there action’s which resulded in Million’s Killed in South East Asia, which the Media reports that we lost after the US. Military was withdrawed Two Years before South Vietnam,fell. Eagles, we must give the nay sayer’s the credit that is there Due. Regardless of Politcal Party the American People need to quick beliving what they have heard everyday on TV or read in News Print. The Commander In Chief is the Commander in Chief not some politian.My Grandson, said it best,having served Two Tours od Duty in Iraq.I,quote Grandpa, If are Goverment wanted us to loose this war why did they send us, and why do they not show the great things that are being done.I,did not see them in the Field with me except maybe on TV from there Hotel or in the Green Zone or Protected by my fellow service member’s.
