Mission: Raise Your Voice
Report by Ross ‘Bubba’ McDowell - GOE member and supporter
Perhaps for the first time ever, a group of patriots went to the North Carolina Moonbat Head-quarters - Chapel Hill - to deliver a message of pro-American, pro-Conservative, pro-Military hope and faith in the American way. This message was delivered in the heart of a liberal univeristy campus. It was delivered loudly, firmly and with conviction.
Although our numbers were not what we had hoped for, the objective was realized none the less. In a place dominated by the liberal mind, patriots stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Patriots stood with covered hearts for the National Anthem. Patriots stood and listened to the words and songs of fellow patriotic Americans, including Vietnam and Iraq Veterans.
Some wept.
So, did the liberals and moonbats listen? Probably not. Did we change any minds? Probably not. Did we make a difference today? Most definately so.
The American left has enjoyed unchallenged freedom of speech for decades. Today, hundreds, maybe thousands of liberal minded or liberal influenced knew that the voices being raised were not damning America, not calling for impeachment, not hoping for defeat. The voices they heard today proclaimed the nobility of America, the honor and gratitude owed to the American soldier and the less than honorable and sometimes traitorous behavior of our brethren on the left.
Maybe, just maybe the next time some of them pick up there ‘impeach’ or ‘bush lied’ signs in preparation for another anti-war hissy fit - the words of patriots will ring in their ears, minds and hearts.
Perhaps at least one of them will decide they need to open their minds to the possibility that they have been acting on and repeating the lies of traitors. If so, then ….
Mission Accomplished

Though I was a little bit bummed out by the small turnout, I was thrilled with the people that were there. Top notch, first class, American Patriots every one. The message that was sent by the speakers and musicians was worthy of an audience of thousands.

Thank you for sharing the pictures…I am wondering if we need to do regional gatherings??? Most of us are everyday Americans (Patriots!!) and hold down 1 or 2 jobs - hardworking…but we could have numbers I believe if we meet together in different parts of the country. I know it is hard to get the numbers at these individual locations. What do you think???
Blessings..

How many people were there– I looked at the pictures but couldn’t tell. If I lived nearer, I would have been there but I am “saving myself” for GoE II and I suspect that a lot of people from far away are as well. If GoE I was a one-time event, and we can’t draw the big numbers for GoE II, I worry that this country is going to be lost.
Since we do not have someone providing free buses for us, we all have to get there at our own expense and that may be why there weren’t a lot of people there. Anyway, I’m sure it was a good event for the people who showed up.
Thanks for the nice photo Yacfisher, saw you walking about “shooting” people and was going to talk with you but you vanished on me! See you at GOE-2
I’d say probably 100ish at peak. We did get quite a few college students who passed by, stopped to hear for a little bit, and then went on their way. So even though the peak number was low, we got our name out there to quite a few.
“If GoE I was a one-time event, and we can’t draw the big numbers for GoE II, I worry that this country is going to be lost.”

Patriotsoul,
I hear your concern… but from a guy who has been going to DC for Memorial Day weekend for the past 3 years, I can tell you that you will be overwhelmed by the turnout for GOE II. Rolling Thunder’s Run To The Wall brings over a half a million people to DC. I was conservative with that number.. I believe its more like 800,000. Since it is also the 20th Anniversary of the event, that number could go much higher. I am encouraging our brothers and sisters of Rolling Thunder to join with us for GOE II, it is a join event.
I hope you can make it.. you won’t believe your eyes! It may well be the most patriotic event I have ever seen.
Good luck and keep fighting the good fight!!
Please, please do not give up!! That would be a terrible loss. We can’t all make every event in every location, but we can all do our part in our own way.
On Wednesday the 25th we had our Veterans interviews here in Appleton Maine. Four WWII vets came to be interviewed by our 7th and 8th graders…and it was a resounding success!! We are a K-8 school of 140 students …. and will use our tapes and pictures to create dvds to add to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project site. This is where we pass on the patriotism too - person to person- from local vet to local child. The vets were eloquent, and the kids were in rapt attention.
In November at our school’s veterans luncheon we will celebrate our vets and present each participant with a dvd of the interviews. We plan a huge celebration this is our 5th year of inviting vets to lunch, and the roll out of our dvd project.
If there are projects out there that others are doing to show or engender patriotism, lets hear about them too! The Son’s of Liberty could not always meet together, but American patriotism still spread across the colonies!
Yakfisher: Thank you for the pictures, especially the video this time.George Samek keep speaking long and loud for what you believe in. I’ve got great admiration for you,as I know everyone who reads your posts feels the same way. To the Major I say THANK YOU, THANK, THANK YOU for the speech you gave.It should be required viewing for all members of CONGRESS.I got choked up watching it. I’m sure i’ll be viewing it again and again. Somebody help me with this, but after watching the MAJOR speak,I thought of Gen. George Patton looking out over his men and asking “Where do all these brave men come from ….” I’m extremely proud of the young generation, for there are untold numbers of them out there that understand what keeping this country free is all about. To any MOONBATS peeking in, don’t be fooled by the small turnout this weekend. We have not lost our will and determination, for as long as you are out there, we will be in your face.Nobody is quitting here. EAGLES FOREVER !!!
YAKFISHER, Great Photos. And the Mayor’s speech, Outstanding. Being so far away these things mean alot to us of distance. “EAGLES UP”
BUBBA, A Great report….See you at GoE2….
Excellent take on the gathering! I do hope that our planned event in Connecticut has a good turnout. In case some Eagles haven’t heard, the moonbats at A.N.S.W.E.R. are planning to disrupt the graduation ceremony at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT…likely because President Bush will be addressing the class. My fear is that because it’s to be held on a Wednesday morning, we will have a hard time getting the numbers we’d like to face this crowd of commies and malcontents.
Should any Eagles want to attend this rally, please go to the Connecticut section of the forums for more info. Or to the Ideas & Suggestions forum under Next ANSWER Event 5/23 USCGA, New London, CT.
The pictures from Chapel Hill look like a small but dedicated group of Eagles.
Let’s keep this going and growing folks.
Our troops are answering the call of freedom overseas…WE must answer that call here!
It’s not the numbers that are the important factor, but the heart, being there, carrying the message…no large fire ever started without a spark…..God bless all.
Very Inspiring.Yes the Quality is what counts not the Quantity. But many people telling their congressmen/or congressman’s staff to attend this rally in May will help I think. May change some minds. Especially the discouraged ones. I think the key thing is there are many that are “liberally influenced” and not really die hard liberals. But now we can make them ” Patriotically influenced” perhaps….
Hope there is is over half million people at this GOE2 rally and someone takes a picture from above…

68/69Biker Bill, you are SO right on.
Last year there were over 500,000 PATRIOTIC riders in Rolling Thunder. Many are Vietnam Vets but that has changed over the years. Now many are FRIENDS and SUPPORTERS of Vietnam Vets, or Iraq Vets, of Desert Storm and Panama Vets …
And their families.
This year is the 20th Anniversary of ROLLING THUNDER. A ride that starts at the Pentagon and goes to the Wall enmasse.
It is truly something to experience. Many bikes fly both the POW/MIA flag and Old Glory.
After the ride the bikes FILL to overflowing that field the moonbats couldn’t even fill a corner of back in March on the 17th.
We also FILL Constitution Avenue with Harleys parked on both sides as far as the eye can see.
It is a reunion of the highest order. A day of patriotism from one end of the Mall to the other. Even Arlington is filled with supporters, with Americans who share a common denominator.
The love of freedom and a deep river of respect for the high cost of Freedom.
This year I can guarantee you there will be over a million bikes involved.
And they all bring family, friends and people come from all around this Great Nation to see this parade of Vets on Harleys and all kinds of motorcycles pass by for 4, 5, even 6 hours as they pay respect to our Fallen Heroes.
This is my 15th run to the Wall. This year is different. This year it will also host a Gathering of Eagles the likes of which the Left WISHES they could gather in one spot.
Constitution Gardens, where they gathered in a tiny corner when they staged March 17th at GOE I … in that they could not fill we will fill to overflowing with patriots.
Not “Bush Bots”; but SANE, knowledgeable people from everywhere USA. Real every freaking day People; men and woman, old and young. Vets and non Vets from every State in the Union.
Men and woman who know, first hand, the price paid by the Fallen ….
the blood shed for the freedom for an illegal immigrant to burn our flag today. Or a left wing college student brainwashed by left wing college profs dedicated to a Socialistic, Left Wing Society.
For the right to carry protest signs while being used as useful idiots for a communist cadre that will never let up trying to reverse the Cold war.
Or restart it.
If we haven’t already we must start talking with all the Vietnam Vet MC Clubs and Military MC clubs we can.
Get everyone on the same page.
I know how difficult that can be but we can do this.
By working with those who run this Greatest of Patriotic Events, and who also agree that this, the 20th Anniversary of ROLLING THUNDER, can and should be merged into a display of Patriotism and support for the troops; not just the Fallen whose names cover acres of white markers in Arlington and several stone Walls at the Mall.
But those young men and woman who even now are shedding real blood fighting terror in Iraq and around the world.
That Rolling Thunder XX will also be A Gathering of Eagles II.
There will be some who oppose this.
There are some reading this now thinking how they thought what I am suggesting was already a given.
It’s not a given.
As far as I know they are two separate events; but I also know Rolling Thunder and those who ride ride with PRIDE.
And you can’t get no prouder than to stand together with a million Brothers and Sisters … for those who are paying the price and fighting the fight for our way of life; even as you read this.
We can do this.
I know that with Kit and Coop and this website … we can start a dialogue with those who run Rolling Thunder, and those many Vet and Patriot orientated MC clubs and independents who make Rolling Thunder such a huge event.
We have a simple mission.
To not allow the Radical left repeat their uncontested victory of losing a war America’s Military had/has fought so valiantly and sacrificed so much to win.
And RIGHTFULLY so.
Vietnam and Korea were two of the biggest battles of the COLD WAR.
And we won them both.
Our mission was to keep South Vietnam a Democracy and we did that , had accomplished that when the PEACE ACCORDS were signed.
From the Chosin Reservoir through Hue, Kandahar and Anbar Provence America’s youth and vets have bled and died to keep this country free.
Col Riley is right though. It’s not the numbers. It’s the message.
But in this case we have a chance to really send a message to the Left that we are not rolling over for them this time …… because there are strength in those numbers.
And, if the Message is just … as our Mission Statement will tell you it is … then this time numbers do matter.
Rolling Thunder married with the GOE for this event will help get the attention of a Mass Media so biased to the Left they have America ( a large percentage ) convinced defending ourselves is not in our best interest.
With family friends and spectators this 20th anniversary “Ride to The Wall” will attract 5 to 10 times as many spectators as it will riders. And the riders at this anniversary ride WILL top one million.
Not all of them will love the smell of Apple Pie or stand when the flag goes by …
But most of them will.
Gathering of Eagles II and Rolling Thunder XX can help us accomplish our Mission Statement as no other single event could ever hope to.
What say you Eagles? Is this the objective as I know it can be done; I know Rolling Thunder would Join us.
And I know it would put the GOE on the front burner of America overnight.

SKY~SOLDIER I HAVE BUT ONE THING TO SAY! “EAGLES UP” “EAGLES UP” “EAGLES UP” “EAGLES UP” “EAGLES UP” “EAGLES UP”…………………………….
gtoast99, I think that 100 people is a lot! We patriots are not used to getting out and demonstrating, so maybe it will build slowly.
BikerBill, GoEI was a turning point in my life and I can hardly wait for GoEII. Although, half the fun at GoEI was seeing the shocked looks on the faces of the moonbats. I doubt that any of them will have the guts to show up this time.
Now, if we could just get some decent media coverage…
Patriotsoul, you may have a point, most of us are not used to “demonstrating” Most of us have jobs, families, responsibilities, we are productive American citizens, and we are the heart and soul of this country… but the whole idea is that we have been silent too long, and we aren’t going to be silent anymore.
As for college kids, not all of them are liberals and you just don’t know how much seeing 100 patriots might mean to a student out there that feels like many of us, and may give them courage to raise their voices, I dug up an archived story from when I was at WMU in 2003 that I wanted to share with you.

Students rally in support of U.S. troops overseas
Karolyn Glowe
News Editor
Issue date: 3/27/03 Section: News
Chanting “U-S-A” and the melody of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” over 100 students rallied Wednesday to support the efforts of American troops currently taking part in Operation: Iraqi Freedom.
“Today we are here to take a stand; today we are here to say that we are no longer going to sit back and watch people badmouth our country, put down our troops and harm our innocent citizens,” said Fred Schaible, freshman majoring in political science. “We are here to take a stand to say, ‘Saddam Hussein, get out of Iraq and let the people live freely.’”
As students rallied next to the flag poles, about 30 students lined the street next to the Student Recreation Center, encouraging passing cars to honk in support of the many signs and flags they held up for American troops.
“Our troops are out right now defending our freedom, laying down their lives so that we can be here and sing and wave our flags patriotically, and that is what Declaration No. 5 is all about, it’s about supporting our troops and supporting those that have shed their blood for America,” said Martin Super, junior majoring in political science and member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, referring to the declaration the group would discuss with the Western Student Association following the rally.
“My father came here without a shirt on his back, he came here with a $240 plane ticket, so he came here in the red,” Super said. “He had nothing, and he’s built a life for himself and he’s able to make enough money for me to go to college. That’s America, and that should be worldwide.”
Super added that his close friend and fraternity brother, Mikel Gault, was deployed about one month ago. He now serves as an ordinance manager for an A-10 Warthog, a type of plane used to attack tanks.
“He was a very good friend of mine and I miss him,” Super said. “But I realize that he is a man of resolution, he is a man determination. He’s out there protecting me so that I can be here to support him. If I don’t support him then everything he is doing is for not.”
Some students commented on the continuing anti-war protests put on by Kalamazoo Non-Violent Opponents to War.
“There are people on this campus who are out there protesting this war, talking about peace, and they are a minority on this campus,” said Matt Hall, sophomore majoring in business management, WSA senator and one of the event’s organizers. “We understand that freedom has a price, and we support our troops and thank them for being over there for us.”
Don Sheff, freshman majoring in public policy, said he joined the rally in an effort to help anti-war protesters understand that while their intentions are good, U.S. troops who witness their opposition are often left feeling immoral.
“They have to understand they are regular people just like us and they have to pull that trigger, and they are killing people and that’s hard on them, and the last thing they need is to have their own countrymen that they are dying for telling them that they’re immoral and they’re unjust,” Sheff said.
Hall said that while war was not the desired outcome of most individuals, now that the president of the U.S. has decided to send troops to Iraq, it is time for Americans to stand behind the men that are fighting.
“At the beginning none of us wanted war, many of us disagreed with the war, but now that the time has come, the decision has been made, we are all united behind our president and our troops,” Hall said referring to the rally attendees.
Super said while anti-war protesters are entitled to freely express their beliefs, the troops overseas need the support of those whose freedom they are fighting to ensure.
“I believe that as a democracy everyone should have their own opinion, and I respect them for theirs,” Super said. “However, I believe that we would be disenfranchising our troops by not supporting them now while they are currently in the field fighting for our freedom, and not just our freedom but the freedom of people worldwide.”
Hall also read off the names of each of the 57 Western Michigan University students who have been deployed overseas to date as the crowd chanted “fighting for freedom” following each name.
Ashley Allen, freshman majoring in public law and member of the College Republicans, passed out yellow ribbons to those attending.
“The yellow ribbons we are sending out are to symbolize our support for our troops,” Allen said. “You’ll see yellow ribbons tied around trees. It supports the army; it supports the armed forces.”
Allen, who helped organize the event, said she was very excited about the numbers that the rally brought in.
“It’s a lot easier to speak out for peace than it is to speak out for war,” Allen said. “Nobody loves war, but we love America, and I love America, and to see all these people here, it just makes my heart sing.”
Sky Soldier~ Done. Please review your post and make sure I did what you requested.
Yes Mamm! Job well done. I thank you very much!
And PatriotSoul, I agree, 100 is a lot.
But a million plus will get us that media coverage.
I too enjoyed the look of dismay and shock on the faces of the protestors on the 17th at GOE I.
It was a day I will cherish to my grave. I was part of History.
GOE II has the potential to make Gathering of Eagles a household name.
We are not short on Patriots, nor on patriotism, but there are many out there who have yet to hear the name, ” A Gathering of Eagles” spoken aloud.
Many of the “Silent Majority” do not know yet that we are; nor what our mission statement says.
Exactly because the left rules the paper and silver screen press.
If Rolling thunder Inc follows their Patriotic Heart … and merges this 20th Anniversary Run to The Wall with A Gathering of Eagles II …
GOE II can and will give hope to the dispirited who love America, but only read force fed moonbat news in their papers, and see only left wing garbage on their televized nightly doses of editorialism.
GOE I and North Carolina were huge steps in the right direction.
As were and are the many other steps GOE is, and has taken.
But GOE II has the potential to take our message into every home in America.
I believe most of America is sitting on the fence waiting for signs of life from the conservative right; signs that are there, but muted by the press.
There would be no way the liberal media could turn their backs on us again, while focusing only on the protesters of the looney left; if our message is heard as loud as a million motorcycles Rolling down Constitution Avenue.

For the most part the liberals have jobs and are hardworking as well. Yet they still manage to get numbers. Conservatives have a long way to go to match their firmness of convictions (no matter how misguided).
Tony put on a first-class event and deserves our gratitude. I am glad I made the trip and met some very good folks. Nice report, Bubba. Thank you.
I believe there are plenty of people who are of the same mind as we are about supporting the troops. America is just being “worn down” by all of the MSM BS tearing down the war effort. There are Videos all over the web showing the good things that the troops are doing in Iraq. We may have to find a vehicle to pay for getting the truth placed on primetime TV as did the swift-boat guys. I still believe that these guys are the main reason “John” was blown out of the water. (Pun intended)
Those of you who think, think about that.
Those of you who pray, pray about that!

Hey y’all! I’m sorry I couldn’t get more college kids out there on Saturday, but it’s tough when there are exams and things going on. I hope y’all won’t give up on Chapel Hill…there ARE a lot more conservatives here than the left would like to believe.

I don’t post much, but I do read all of the email reports and the web site. Just wanted to say ‘Thanks’ for being there and a good voice, from a brother of the ‘Herd’

TO: KIMBERLY, Thank You for sharing that. I think students can get other students to understand that the Anti-American venom comes from the enemy. The enemy has used and supported($$$), Anti-War movements for 200yrs in America. One only has to go to an anti-war rally to see that these are communist, and Jhadist front organization. If the true Anti-War Patriots would seperate them selves from the Anti-American TRASH and carry the Flag with with HONOR and RESPECT, and to show HONOR and RESPECT FOR the MEN & WOMEN who do, have, and Died for there right to Free Speach, they might be heard. Other wise “YOU ARE AN ENEMY TO AMERICA” Another point that should be made is, that in the Military, there are Dem, Rep, Ind, and even Greenpeace-rs. There are Christians, Muslims, Jews and Atheists. Serving our Great Nation. “EAGLES UP”
JENNY: Don’t be sorry. Just knowing that you’re out there and paying attention to what’s going on makes me feel a whole lot better. I know that you and a huge number of young folks across this country like you are willing to step up when the time comes for the ANTI-AMERICAN crowd to be stomped down. Look forward to seeing you in D.C. And don’t forget to VOTE..VOTE..VOTE..VOTE..VOTE on every level(LOCAL,STATE,&NATIONAL) GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR EXAMS!
Folks,
100 is plenty. Just our 50-ish people at Purdue earlier this month was enough to make the other turds think twice about counterdemonstrating us. In fact, I personally watched a group of ladies start walking toward us (looked like Code Pink wannabes) then hesitate, stop, talk and then turn around and leave. Yes, they are used to having their voice without competition. Having 100 at UNC was AWESOME!!!!
Keep charging on!
Chris
THIS TIME A 100 , NEXT TIME 1,000 . KEEP YOUR CHIN UP. WE HAVE A LONG FIGHT AHEAD OF US .SEE YA IN D.C. AT GOE II .

EAGLES UP !
I just e-mailed our local newspaper, THE VIRGINIA-PILOT. I wrote to a lady,KERRY DOUGHERTY,whom i have a lot of respect for,to ask her to please put a plug in for GOE2. It’s hard to believe we have such a liberal newspaper here in Tidewater Va.(Norfolk,Va.Beach), with the high concentration of Military , but it does exist. Kerry is one of the few conservitives that writes a couple of weekly columns. She doesn’t pull any punches. Hopefully she can help get the word out.
Mike, you might try tying GOE in with the Operation Recruiter Appreciation and forward the map. It may help get her (Kerry’s) attention. Just a thought. Cheers
Great work, guys! I know GOE2 is going to take bunches of work and people will be busy, but thought I’d throw out this idea anyway. For anyone who could get some GOE promo stuff together, try to use it to get out the message at July 4 celebrations around the nation. If every small town parade could have a “float” getting out the Eagle message, I think it would make a difference. A change in perceived attitude will be crucial by summer’s end or I fear dire consequences of a “Give Up; Get Out” policy.
I spent a lot of time talking with students who actually listened and when one commented that his “teacher told him….” I challenged him to google it. The kid did, right there in Polk Field, and learned a valuable lesson….. teachers have agendas too! His freinds were impressed and they departed talking about other topics they had wondered about, parents saying one thing and teachers telling them something completely different.
GOE at UNC Chapel Hill got some of the students THINKING!
Thanks COOP !
COOP: I doubt anyone could get kerry’s attention. He spends ALL his TIME LOOKING IN THE MIRROW! “EAGLES UP”
Excuse me, but I had a grey moment. I wanted to tell SUSAN PETERSON to give her son SPC ALEX PETERSON a heartfelt THANK YOU for his service to our COUNTRY. And you’re right JIM D., KERRY has been called “LURCH” so many times he has to keep looking to see if he looks like him.
Jenny
At the risk of sounding like your father, please don’t ever apologize for taking a stand. You did a courageous and dare I say good thing on saturday, the right thing. You should sleep well Jenny knowing that you MADE A DIFFERENCE !!! We at Rolling Thunder are proud to stand with you, any time, any place!

IF NOT US, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
It was my great honor to stand with my fellow Eagles at UNC Chapel Hill.
Yakfisher, Bubba, you humbled me, thank you ,and my long suffering wife of a Vietnam Vet says thank you You guys make my life complete.
I talked with many students at UNC, I was happy to see them stop, for a brief moment, smile and shake hands, and hear the GOE message, and ,as allways, “Remember Me”.
I, and other Eagles, were treated with respect, on this leberal ground, and I know respect when I see it. Thank you students, one and all.
I spoke with the Vet with the “Impeach Bush” sign. He ask if I wished he would leave. I told him NO, please stay, we would honor his right to free speech, and I ask him if he loved the troops, he said yes he did, I shook his hand and we smiled. We needed to say no more.
I rode up to the Greensboro rally with a Vietnam Vet.,a USMC Chopper piliot, a fellow police officer, and my long time friend, this was his first GOE rally. After the rally, over lunch he told me he was not in favor of the war, but he loved the troops.
We rode home together, proud of standing together, with pride, to support our brave troops. We are simple soldiers, we fight, we die, together. Some things will never change.
Eagles Up on to the Wall with Rolling Thunder.
Chapel Hill was a great experience for me and I plan to come and support the Gathering of Eagles whenever, however, and whereever I can. Not to tune my own horn, but I drove down from Central Ohio to attend the Chapel Hill event. I am a Desert Storm Vet and very proud of all of our vets! I support our troops 150%. I remember seeing anti-war protests when I was over there in 1990-1991. I don’t like our troops to see this happening now. So, I want to support the Gathering of Eagles in any way that I can, so our message gets out in to the media. So the troops will know that we support them!
It was a pleasure to meet George, Biker Bill, Dana, Denise, Coop, and many others.
I plan on seeing you guys again in DC for GOE2, and I hope to meet many more of our “brothers and sisters”.
Let’s keep up the great work and keep spreading the word.

Well it’s time to “jump up” again! Hope you will all bear with me & take these words in the spirit intended.
Coop is right, we do have along way to go to match the firmness of convictions of those on the other side of the street! There is no doubt in my mind that we will be equal to that task, for our cause is a noble and just one. We know all too well what price we will pay for failure. Some have called us radicals and troublemakers while all we want is for the next generation to have at least a shot at the kind of life our parents and grandparents provided for us. Those on the other side of the street are so far off the charts that if we are not terrified we are simply not paying attention!
Take Move On.org for example. Do you know that they now claim to “own” the democratic party? If that does not petrify you, you are not paying attention. Just google the name George Soros, Move On’s cheif financier. This man may well be the most dangerous individual our country has ever encountered. Don’t believe that? The research is simple! From gay marriage to unfettered access to abortion, even for your 11,12,13 year old daughter. Not enough? How about legalizing all drugs, how about opening all our boarders, how about suspending many if not all of your constitutional rights, how about having the UN make the decisions about how Americans live their lives? This is a scary & dangerous man, yet to Hillary, Edwards and Obama, George Soros is America’s hope for the future. Be afraid my brother and sister Eagles, be VERY AFRAID!! Remember Move On OWENS their party!
While making a difference may never be easy, it can be simple. Next time you go out to diner take your own bottle of ketchup into the resturant with you, make a production of it. If they are serving Heinz your bottle of Hunts will make someone ask questions. Silly, maybe, but an easy way to make a point and maybe even start a conversation with a stranger. Who knows you may make someone actually think. And with any luck Mrs Kerry may see a drop in revenue and want to know why. These people have no principals. They are motivated by power. Facts are facts conservatives give more to charities in both time and money and we are called the greedy ones. Ask the Speaker of the House why her employees are not unionized. Ask Hillary how Predident Bill’s briefs, yes I mean underwear, became worth more as a Goodwill donation than they were new. Ask Michael Moore, champion of the, “little guy”, about his big lake front home or his production work done in Canada to avoid paying union scale. If John Edwards had built a home half the size of his new estate and then given the money for the other half away I dare say a dozen families could have been taken off the welfare roles forever! Now I begrudge no man from making all the money he possibly can, that is the American way but, do not tell me I am not doing my fair share. By the way Mr Edwards, do you plan on showing up for work a little bit more often if elected president than you did as a senator??????
These examples and many many more can be found in 2 books. “Do AS I SAY” by Peter Schweizer and “100 People Who Are Screwing Up America” by Bernard Goldberg. Want a climpse of America’s future folks, read those two books and I’ll bet you will have trouble sleeping. When you are done give them to some of you left leaning buddies, bet they will even be shocked at the hypocrisy!
Our beloved country is in trouble my friends and we must do all we can to see that we are able to fight back. All we are able. Make no mistake we are at a crossroad and history will judge our action.
Did you know that one of those heavily advertised dicount insurance companies is owned by one of George Soros’ best friends?!?!?!?!? And no it’s not the one with the little lizard. Are you buying insurance from this man? If so YOU are supporting those on the other side of the street all in order to save a few bucks. A bit radical of me, maybe so. But, are you/we willing to make a contribution or a COMMITMENT !
We say we will write our congresscritters but do we really make the time. We say we will write the newspapers, but do we make the time. We say we will support our troops with letters of thanks, but…..
It’s the little things that add up and will turn this frightening thing around.
In closing I would ask, If it were a crime to be a supporter of GOE would there be enough evidence to convict you? For me , tonight, I am not sure; I can, do just a litte bit more, how about you?
Thanx for alowing me to rant and ramble on your dime. I’m just so worried about the future of our home and I know I can count on you and only you to save Her!
God Bless Us All And God Bless America And God please continue to bless & watch over our troops as we sleep safe in our beds.
Steppin’ down; for now

IF NOT US, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
P.S.
A final, really, thought. If they are wrong so what? If we are wrong, God help us!
Here in America we are descended, in blood ,and in spirit, from revolutionist and rebels-men and woman who dare to dissent from accepted doctrin.
As there hiers may we never confuse honest dissent, from disloyal subversion
Dwight D, Eisenhower
Nice meeting you, Rick, and thanks again for those business cards!
Soapbox,,,So Very Well Said!………”EAGLES UP”
George,,,Until the honest dissenters separate them selves from the disloyal subverters, they are one. They are the Enemy. And the more we point this out, the smaller their ranks become……”EAGLES UP”

Yo! HERD Brother!
There are MANY of us among this Gathering of Eagles. Big dog is HERD, and will also be at ROLLING THUNDER / GOE II.
And I am trying HARD to get all of us still this side of the Sod to come down on Memorial Day weekend to soar with the Eagles and ride with Rolling Thunder.
Please, spread the word among your own HERD Bro’s, as many of us doing the same thing all around the Nation.
We plan to meet On HERD ALLY ( 20th and Constitution) a street the US Government ceeded to us 15 years ago to use as a 173d Gathering point.
Right next to the treasury Building. They have us on camera for the last 15 years, LOL. And a bond has been forged over those years. the guards know us by name and they blockk off the whole street for us to park on that week end.
For years we have fed multitudes there with Fred173’s and Thumby173’s help. And many other HERD help as well.
I often brought down fresh caught trout, frozen lake, Rainbow, Browns by the cooler full; and frozen venison hindquarters to feed the many Vets who camp out there.
We party hearty (well, we used to, lol) and we feed and welcome all comers.
Hope to see you there.
EAGLES UP!
