Thousands of bikers head for Public Square to support U.S. service members

Bikers Turned Out by the Thousands (Nate Marinchik, WTAM)

(Cleveland) - The roar could be heard all over Cleveland’s downtown. Thousands of motorcyclists descended on Public Square for the 5th annual Rally For The Troops Sunday. The event featured prayer, song, and the comments of those who’ve lost loved ones overseas.

Jim Boskovitch was among those who spoke. His son Jeff was one of the Brook Park Marines killed two years ago in Iraq. Boskovitch says his family has received great support from the community, and he has never felt alone as he’s struggled to cope with the loss of his son.

No, this wasn’t a GOE event (to my knowledge), but I wonder if we had any Eagles there?

Of course they are Eagles. It is from these different committed groups of Veterans that we draw our brothers. Being Veterans that care more about their country, it’s troops and it’s future than “beer and bingo” is what makes them Eagles. This is men and women who do NOT have to “be motivated” but only told when and where and they show up. Thank God for Eagles!

Another display of honest patriotism and respect for our soldiers! It’s a beautiful thing to see. The rally in DC on March 17 was a great start. I was proud to be there. It’s good to see it continue!!

The Gathering of Eagles is the home of many proud bikers, of which I am one. We, as Eagles, and bikers, stand for the core values found wide spread amoung our ranks nation wide.

They stand for America, our America, I say reach out to those who arrive with flags flying proud in the wind, They are bikers, and each one is a Eagles.

As we pass each other on the road we reach out our hands to say, My Brother, My Sister, we are Family, and I will never leave you on the side of the road alone, I will be there for you.

That is the message the GOE now sends to our brave troops, We love you, you are our family, we are Eagles’s we will never leave you by the road alone. NOT ON OUR WATCH.

Many are waiting to be ask to join in our mission to support our troops, with pride, honor, and resolve.

May our leadership stand ,and ask those who ride, and all fellow Americans, to stand with us at the Vietnam Wall in May, come, bring a love one, bring a friend, swell our ranks, and our voices will be heard all the way to Capital Steps.

I ask each Eagle to reach out, every day, to bring the message of the GOE to another person, waiting for the chance to be a Eagle.

Bikers,Fellow Vets, Proud Americans everywhere, If Not Us. Then Who?

Lets pay our dues in time spent, our brave troops are now paying for our freedom in proud blood. Can we do less?

Eagles Up, Grow the seeds planted in the mud on March 17 07 at the base of proud Vietnam Wall, build a large nest, many will follow, and in large numbers, WE WILL BE SILENT NO MORE!.

May God watch over our brave troops, hold his loving hand over each one in battle, comfort those who wait at home, and Lord, bring them home safe, with honor. Amen

When you’re born you get a ticket to the freak show, when you’re born in America you get a front row seat.

Thank you Doc, Hope to see you at GOE2. Those words are a small part of my 40 years worth I have stored up inside since I retired in August 1979. You can take a boy out of the Army, but you can never take the Army out of the boy. Enlisted at age 15, sent home to grow up, returned at 18 and in my heart I never left.

With great respect I will allways be a “Toe Tag Eagle, have a fine Eagle Tat on my arm, every since 9-11-01.

Heads Up: Ms Nancy Mr Harry and the New York Times.

We’ve finally given liberals a war against fundamentalism, and they don”t want to fight it, they would, except it would put them on the same side as the United States.

GREAT NEWS FOR ALL VIETNAM VETERANS

The Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation has filed legal actions in a court of law to force John Kerry, and his protectors, to stand in open court, under oath, and answer charges he lied about the slander of Vietnam Veterans after his discharge from military service.

My Check Is In The Mail Every Pay Day!.

By 1973 John Kerry had already accused American soldiers of committing war crimes in Vietnam, thrown someones else’s medals on the ground in a anti-war demanstration, and married his first heiress.

We need to keep in mind that the libs are funded by some very deep pockets. These money men PAY their protesters and radicals to do just that. When not protesting, they organise on college campuses etc. That is their job. They are even funded with transportation and food to show up at protests. Our side has no such. We will be a long time catching up and will have to endure small crowds like Greensboro and Chapel Hill. But catch up we will. Our best recruiting tool is the presence of our out of control radical enemy. EAGLES UP!!

  21. ChickenHawk on May 2nd, 2007 8:13 pm

Love that Ann Coulter and Michelle Milkin. You can’t ask for better reps for our side.
We have started something…lets just keep it going. I do believe with the anniversary of the Wall and Rolling Thunder, AND GOE 2 that D.C. will be packed. I want to shake hands with everyone of you……!
My prayers are said for our GOE leadership. The Lord will provide….believe it.
