Good Surge, Bad News?

It seems the House Democrats are beginning to worry that the surge results won’t be what they have prayed hoped for.
Many Democrats have anticipated that, at best, Petraeus and U.S. ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker would present a mixed analysis of the success of the current troop surge strategy, given continued violence in Baghdad. But of late there have been signs that the commander of U.S. forces might be preparing something more generally positive. Clyburn said that would be “a real big problem for us.”
Notice he said a positive report on the surge would be a problem for Democrats and not good news for the country. Would it be too much to ask our politicians to put our country first (if only in time of war) and party concerns second?

This is a call to action ! We must rally around the flag in September we can’t let Congress hang our brothers out to dry in Iraq, the surge is working we need to flood the phones in DC again and we need as many people as we can get in DC on the 15 th of September.Congress needs to leave General Petraeus alone and let him do his job, this is a key factor keep Congress out of it and we will win it WE CAN”T LET THEM SELL US OUT !!!
The real bad news for Congress in Sept. would be a drastic drop in military enlistements , to the point where those who posture for “Peace at all cost” would have to set in motion the return of the military draft.
America would tremble. “Protest” games would begin for real, not against the “War”, but against the messengers from Congress who sent the wake up call across America that “Uncle Sam Needs YOU”.
The howls from the heartland would shake the very halls of Congress. America has sit back for 40 years and acted like anyone but “Us” had a duty to stand up to protect our country. This is our key to defeat.
I would assume Canada could expect to see a sharp rise in “Yellow Backs” crossing over to the frozen north.
The “Anti-war” draft age slackers, and the proud citizens who cannot remember the Vietnam war would not stand so ready to defund our military. The military is not a “Rental”.
America is faceing not a war but a jihad. Wars can be ended by Congress ,..by defunding the military, Simple?.
Now lets see Congress defund a jihad,

With the “Great Satan” nutered the true cost of funding freedom will be spread across our nation, Freedom is not free, & Congress defunding the war on terror will not bring “Peace in our times”

The answer to winning the war rest in funding those who choose to defend those who value money over freedom.
The nation is focused on $$$ in Sept, I hope you remember you will have to answer to your children when the true bill for stupity arrives at your town to collect its just dues.

We are a Nation half-full of idiots. Seems the other half just doesn’t give a damn….
It’s up to a small percentage of that other half to do the Heavy Lifting for both.
That small percentage is made up of all our Military men & women who bust their asses 24-7 to protect all of us at home.
The rest of that small percentage is made up of Patriotic Americans that understand what is at stake if we lose.
We should and we must do everything we can to Support our Troops .

I just read that the number of U.S. citizens moving to Canada is higher than it has ever been.
20% more than last year and 50% more than in 2000.
Guess what? They are all classified as liberals.. Seems they don’t like the way things are going here and decided to bail out.

One good question, why do not the disfuctional former Americans move to Mexico?. Answer…They have laws in Mexico, conduct like they enjoy were in freedom would cost you time in a Mexican Jail, no a plesent experance I am told.
I guess if they will not fight for Canada, and Canada is fighting with us, I guess the become the problem of Canada.

After the liberation of Paris France during WW-2, I seem to remember they had a special Victory event in the streets of Paris to reward those who sucked up to the Germans.
Free haircuts for the “Ladies” & butt whippings for the “men”. I few special cases were placed against the wall & shot., hung or placed their heads under the blade. The citizens were much impressed.
For the American Victory you will hear the words of Rodney King ,…..”Can’t we all get along”?.

Calling those who have chosen to make the difficlt choice to move from the United States to Canada seems harsh to me.
The main reason many of the people are moving to Canada is simple economics. Our Government has reached a point making it impossible for the majority of those moving to live in our economic soceity. Medical care has reached all time highs forcing many to choose food or their medicines. Hospitalation prices have qudrupled or worse while medicare has changed now demanding co pays the average citizen cannot afford.
We as Comabt veterans , for now, are lucky. Our medical care is a benifit allowed to many however it too is changing quickly, now veterans must pay “co-pays ” for their meds and other services, How long will it be until there are NO VEteRANS services and YOU cannot afford your needed medical care.
Love and sacrifice for this nation is a wonderful ideal however I believe even as a catagory 1 nam vet we are not safe.
I can see the day those with Purple hearts move to other countries unless “WE” do something now.
Think about it before downinga person for survial.

It’s just my opinion, but I’d think for something like that to be truly effictive, rather than just an attention-grabber, it would have to be true and honest.
As in, there are many refugees from Iraq that have settled here, wouldn’t it be more fitting and have much greater impact if they were to stand with us?

Would love that ,.. We have very few here in NC, do you know how to contact them to join us?. I guess we would have a hard time getting any “Free” Islamic women to put back on a Birka, but we could make a positive statement if they would.
