GOE Overhaul

August 5, 2007

GOE is growing!  We’ve outgrown our current website again, and some of the issues with the theme have not resolved.  As a result, we’ll be upgrading to a new site over the next few days.

Before you scream about how much you hate change, let me assure you that this setup is going to be so much easier to use for all of you.  Here’s what you need to know:

- All usernames and passwords will stay the same.  This layout change will not affect your login.

Articles will now appear in sections by category.  This will make it easier for you to keep track of the stories you care about, whether those be After Action Reports, Upcoming Events, or the News Briefings.

- The site will be built more for information than looks.  While we hope you still enjoy how the site looks, our primary purpose is to get you to the information you need as quickly and easily as possible.  That means faster load times, easier access to what you want to see, easier reading, and just a better experience for all.

Stay tuned, excuse the mess, and get ready for an incredible new GOE site.

Make sure you include a section for MOONBAT NEWS, where we can meet & greet all the confused moonbats who waddle onto our site in search of “Please, Sir, May I Have Another?”

Please bring back private messaging and possibly
create a site based real time java based Chat function.

Please incorporate a better spell checker , one that does not stall or lock up.

    Good luck! & thanks

George– it might just be me…. but I have trouble loading your myspace page, from either a dial-up connection or high-speed.

I had to wait quite a while for it to load for me as well, but he has a great site and I added him to my network of friends.

Irene, sorry, But it will say it takes a while to load , worth the wait!!. LOL, I guess it is a moonbat plot to kill off all troop support myspace sites,

I’ll just have to hunker down and fight my way in, then. ;-)

For some reason I have to register again every time I come into the site…

I was a member before the 1st GoE and went to DC in March…

Three times today I have had to register again to get into the Forums …

Is this an example of the need to “overhaul”?

BTW the site was great before and helpful when preparing for GoE I

Is there a TN State level Director/Organizer? I need to get in touch with same…
