Eagles faced down moonbats Saturday, and we’ve got a few pics for you!

After Action Report: West Chester, PA

October 27, 2007

On 3 November after the West Chester, PA action there will be a reception at the West Chester VFW sponsored by Rich Davis and his local patriots. It is way to say thanks for all the time and effort everyone has expended to get our message across to the anti-American forces. For those of you who may not have heard, last week marks the first time in 5 years that the Chester County Peace Brigade did not occupy the West Chester Courthouse steps. At the top of those steps resides a monument to the Civil War dead from the area, so it is fitting that we alone hold that ground. Everyone is invited to attend both the rally and the reception afterwards. If anyone knows an Iraq/Afghanistan active duty, reserve, National Guard member, or veteran who has not attended before, bring them along. This will be an opportunity for us to thank them for their service by plying them with food and drink. Consider this an open invite to any and all who wish to attend, and thank you all for all the heavy lifting you have done. Manchu.

Eagle Action: Jonesborough, TN

October 27, 2007

There will be an antiwar demonstration in Jonesborough on Oct 27th. I would love to see at least as many for as against in this demonstration.

Jonesborough is a small historic town that will be loaded with tourists at this time of year, Jonesborough is located in the northeast corner of Tennessee 25 miles SW of Bristol, 18 miles S of Kingsport, 6 miles west of Johnson City and 86 miles east of Knoxville on hwy 11E. The police departmentt is expecting a large crowd, so come and support out troops in drowning these people out. This isn’t anti war, its anti AMERICA.

Eagles Needed: Orlando

October 27, 2007

If you’re around Orlando this weekend, please stop by and show your support as Eagles rally in Florida!

As part of a 10-city rally, anti-war protesters and speakers organized by United for Peace & Justice plan to march and rally, gathering at the northeast corner of Lake Eola and marching through downtown from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

United for Peace & Justice is a coalition of more than 1,300 groups opposed to the war in Iraq. Organizers have a permit for as many as 5,000 people.

A counter-demonstration that includes the Gathering of Eagles, a national group dedicated to preventing desecration to veterans’ monuments, plans to rally at Heritage Square on Central Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers hope to draw 1,500 people.

Eagles Needed: Little Rock, AR

October 26, 2007

Just in time for Halloween, the moonbats are coming out for a demonstration in West Little Rock…please see this link.

My dear, and very brilliant college student, son brought this activity to my attention, as I haven’t checked on the moonbats’ activities since my lone counter protest on September 11th up in the Heights. Tomorrow is forecast to be a beautiful day, and I would invite each of you to join Caleb and I for a counter protest at around 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, at the corner of Chenal Parkway & Bowman Road. I’m planning for the Wal-Mart/Taco Bell corner.

Some of you will remember back to February, 2003 when these same moonbats were planning to hold an anti-war protest at the Arkansas Vietnam Veterans Memorial. With the help of Dave Elswick of KARN News Radio and the Arkansas Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club, the protesters moved their activities to the Capitol front steps. It’s time to show your support for both the troops and the mission. I would encourage each of you to take a look the The Gathering of Eagles website… http://www.gatheringofeagles.org , particularly in regard to Eagles activities and photos thereof. If anyone has any questions, drop me an e-mail or give me a call at 501-590-8417.

When the Going Gets Tough, Eagles Get Going!

October 26, 2007

Talk about tough–let me tell you about what the Carolina Eagles are doing out in Charlotte.

For several weeks, those folks have confronted the most despicable group of moonbats you can imagine, and they have really turned the tables on them. Led by Eagle Waldo Pepper and attended by folks from many miles away at great personal expense in time and money, this local gathering has succeeded both in harassing the moonbats and focusing local attention on their traitorous activities.

Take a look at the photographs! You’ll see all sorts of imaginative signs, mostly dreamed-up and printed out by Waldo, and put in the most imaginative positions. My favorite is the one in the first picture below, which Waldo put just out of reach of the moonbats!

The Charlotte Eagles have shown just what is possible when a bunch of local patriots get their heads together and go on the attack! I’d love to see events like this going on all over the country. Even in the blowing rain last Wednesday, this hardy bunch was in the faces of the moonbats, and they’ll be back again next week. What a hardy lot our folks are, and I urge you to join me in commending them on their steadfastness in the face of the worst Mother Nature and the leftist idiots could offer!

Thanks, Waldo, Jim, Tammy, Sandy, and all you patriots out in western North Carolina.

Eagles Up!

All the Way and Then Some

October 26, 2007

Last week a friend at Soldier’s Angels contacted me because one of our brave warriors is in a bad way. He is an Iraq veteran (Cavalry Scout) currently stationed in Texas. He is married with three small children. His wife has a rare disease called Gardner’s Syndrome, which causes cancerous tumors to develop. She has been in and out of ICU for months and the children have all inherited the disease. One of them recently had brain surgery to remove a polyp. Our brave brother has accepted the burden without complaint, but the bills are steadily mounting. The house is in danger of foreclosure and all the bills are past due. With time running out it seemed all was going to be lost. I reached out to the veteran’s community here in Philadelphia and the 82nd Airborne Association responded.

This past Sunday five of their members put on their uniforms and stood outside a Philadelphia Eagles football game with me to collect donations for a man who has never once complained. For four hours we watched people eat and drink as they strolled by us. Many people thanked us for our service and some threw a dollar into the buckets we carried. In a stadium that seats 56,000 we hoped to get just 7% of people to give one dollar. That did not happen. We collected around $2,000 that day. The 82nd donated half of the take to the brave warrior and half to their charity. All of us could have been doing other things. All of us could have waited for someone else to help out. Instead, five Vietnam vets and I did what needed to be done. While it is not enough and there will always be another warrior who needs help, for now we have stopped the financial bleeding.

Were it just me I would not post this. GOE has helped many soldiers before, but this action was extraordinary in that time was of the essence. The Philadelphia 82nd Association deserves praise and an “atta boy” for taking the time to help. Thank you my brothers for extending a helping hand, and know that your assistance has made all the difference in the world to a soldier who wants no hand outs, but simply could not help himself. From the bottom of my heart…THANK YOU. Airborne.

Must-See Movie

October 24, 2007

Eagles, this movie will astound most people, but not you. It will make the uninformed understand why there are moonbats with college degrees. Stroll through this website, and YOU will understand a bit more than you did, perhaps. The director, Evan Coyne Maloney, is a friend of Eagle Katie O’Malley. Let’s pass the word about this extraordinary effort.

EAGLES! Our fellow patriots at Blackwater deserve our help, too!

October 24, 2007

From the Chairman:

Please consider writing to your elected officials and your local newspapers on Blackwater’s behalf. I personally know both the owner and the president of Blackwater, and they are top-grade people; so is the organization. They are serving our country as much as is our military. Take a look at their letter to us:

“The Blackwater family is comprised of dedicated and active service providers who work vigorously to support our country. In this tumultuous political climate, Blackwater Worldwide has taken center stage, our services and ethics aggressively challenged with misinformation and outright fabrications. Letters, e-mails and calls to your elected officials, can and will create a positive impact by influencing the manner in which they gather and present information.

While we can’t ask that each supporter do everything, Blackwater asks that everyone do something. Please contact your lawmakers and tell them to stand by the truth. Correspondence should be polite and professional. Just tell the Blackwater story and encourage them to seek the truth instead of reading propaganda and coming to a conclusion. Suggested themes are:

- Cost-efficiency of Blackwater – saving the US taxpayer millions of dollars

- Employees are professionals — service veterans and mature law enforcement personnel

- Numerous lives lost by Blackwater; not a single protectee (US diplomats) has been harmed

If you hear someone say good things about Blackwater, please contact them and let them know that they have your support. Find and contact your federal, state, and local officials by visiting www.congress.org.”

Thank you.

Moonbats Publicize Fake Accusations Against Eagles

October 24, 2007

“Progressive” website Buzzflash had an interesting story up yesterday. Posted by “Nemesis,” the screed claims some extraordinary things–and makes home heinous accusations against Eagles. Calling Eagles “Reich wing Christo-Fascists — Armed And Dangerous,” the article is fairly amusing.

This is not a story but is actually some opposition research. Gathering of eagles[sic] fanatics will try to interject violence into any non-violent gathering. They have held seminars around the country conducting paramilitary training. In the past thy [sic] have dragged a disabled protester out of his wheelchair and beat him. If you plan on marching on the 27th , beware, these people are dangerous.

The comments are equally idiotic, but if you do decide to join the fray, keep your comments on an adult maturity level.  They can’t seem to do that, so take the high road.

EAGLES! HELP!

October 23, 2007

As you know, we are going all out to help our brothers and sisters confront the moonbats all across the country, and, guess what? They need your financial support, especially the folks in Florida, who are having to shell out $2800.00 just to pay the city of Orlando for the privilege of using one its parks for their rally.

PLEASE help! If you want to give directly to our Florida effort, please write a check or send a PayPal contribution with the amount being ONE DOLLAR more than a standard amount of $25.00, $50.00, etc.. That would be $26.00, $51.00, and so forth (even $1001.00!). When we see that extra dollar, we will provide your entire gift to GOE-Florida. If your gift is an even amount, it will go to the general fund to pay for other expenses, of which we have plenty!

Seriously, folks, we will be broke at the end of the month. Send us your maximum gift now–PLEASE–either to our PayPal account, or to:

Thank you all!

Eagles Needed: Evergreen and Denver, CO

October 23, 2007

Colorado is under attack by Anti-War protesters all across the state. Eagles have been stepping up and counter protesting these “mis-informed” citizens, and we have been very successful. As you can tell by visiting our national GatheringofEagles page, local Eagle activities around the country have been picking up.

Berkeley, California - Oct 17, 2007 - Mark this day down folks. It was Wednesday, October 17, 2007 that hundreds of pro-troop supporters turned out for a giant pro-troop rally in Berkeley, CA (one of the most anti-military & anti-war cities in this nation). Not only did the size of the rally shock the San Francisco Bay Area news media, it surprised the anti-war activists at Code Pink who were outnumbered on their own turf!. - More about Berkeley.

Poncha Springs, Colorado - Oct 20, 2007 - Buena Vista Mayor Cara Russell spoke to the crowd before the rally moved inside. She recited a quote by 18th Century Irish philosopher Edmund Burke: “I believe the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.” - More about Poncha Springs.

Gathering of Eagles needs to continue this fight to speak-up For the Troops, and For the Mission. Our troops are winning in Iraq and Afghanistan, we as Eagles need to also win in the streets of America so we can avoid a Vietnam style defeat. We are indeed fighting “The insurgency at home”.

Colorado Gathering of Eagles now has an Events page that will bring these Colorado “Anti-War, Anti-Troop and Anti-American” activities to our attention. We as Eagles need to ALWAYS BE THEREOUR TROOPS ARE ALWAYS THERECAN WE LET THEM DOWN?.

mtngrandma & mtngrandpa plan on attending BOTH EVENTS the Evergreen event at 10 am, then the Denver event at noon. The weather is much better than last weekend, and I do know we have a lot of Eagles in the metro area, I’ve got pictures of them at the Danny Dietz memorial dedication on July 4th.Hope to see you all there!

Eagles Needed: Chicago

Bring your family and your American Flags and all the true patriotic Americans you know….Come by car, by bus , by train…and oh yea by MOTORCYCLE! We all can drive for a few hours for our TROOPS! BE THERE FOR THEM!

Face down the left wing fascist, Code Pink and A.N.S.W.E.R. and other anti American socialist groups…who are tearing down the morale of our Military, our sons and daughters and grandchildren who are now in harm’s way FOR US!

Calling all Veterans
Calling all Policemen
Calling all Firemen
Calling all Patriotic MC’s
Calling all Patriotic Americans!

LET’S SHOW OUR TROOPS WE REALLY CARE!

Why We Do What We Do

October 21, 2007

If you haven’t seen or heard this song yet, then you’re welcome. ;)

Eagle Action: NYC

October 21, 2007

The communist Leslie Cagan and her communist organization, United for Justice and Peace (UJP), along with their usual collection of accomplices and peacenik dupes will be marching down Broadway in New York City on Saturday October 27, 2007. Their message is to “end the war now” and, “we support our troops - bring them home now”. They claim to be speaking for America and for the troops.

The New Jersey and New York Gathering of Eagles invite you to join us on Broadway in New York City on October 27, 2007 to let Leslie Cagan and her fellow communists and their useful idiots know that they do not speak for America, and that their anti-war parades are not supporting the troops.

UJP marchers will be coming into Manhattan from New Jersey, across the George Washington Bridge and from Brooklyn, across the Brooklyn Bridge. They will then meet at 23rd street and march to Foley Square. See here and here for more info at their sites.

We will be counter protesting the UJP communists at the following locations and times:

  • 9:30 am George Washington Bridge - We will be meeting at the foot of the George Washington Bridge on Hudson Terrace in Fort Lee, NJ. Free parking is available at 2139 Hudson Terrace, at Merkle St, behind the Forte Restaurant. Click here for directions to the parking lot. The rally point is across Hudson Terrace and two blocks south - look for the American flags!
  • 10:00 am Brooklyn Bridge - Manhattan side of bridge at the entrance to the pedestrian walkway - look for the American flags!
  • 12:30 pm Broadway and Worth St. - Manhattan

    Eagles Up !!

    West Chester, PA: Eagle Action

    October 21, 2007

Here are some photos of the West Chester, PA action last week.

    Meadville, PA: Eagle Action

    October 21, 2007

This report in from the wife of a deployed soldier:

The counter protest in Meadville is still ongoing. I put up the flags Charlie sent to me last week. There were enough to put them up on every third post around the fountain. I figured it would be ok cause the anti-america group wouldn’t want their gold star flags put up with the American flag. I was wrong! They came and put up their flags anyway. So I have another plan this week for filling in the space till I can get some more flags to put up. Since last weekend I found out about another group that had just started a weekly protest about 20 miles from my house. I was not looking forward to countering another group each week by myself. Here is the website for this group. It’s pretty disgusting as they have a page just for pictures of blown and wounded Iraqi kids. Anyways, my son Andrew begged me to take him last night so he could get some footage for youtube. We drove into the town and saw about 8 protesters. Then, as we drove further we saw about 15 counter protesters! YES!! I was so excited. Even the mayor of the town was among the counter protesters. I gave everyone my card which has the Gathering of Eagles information on it. Some of them are planning on being in Meadville today to stand with me. I will get the footage from last night up on youtube later. Andrew had fun with this group. They called him a facist, terrorist, and a young nazi. Below are some pics from last night.

    Upgrades and Updates

    October 20, 2007

    Eagles,

The GOE National site is undergoing some changes.  With all the local events going on around the country, we wanted to make sure you got to see the pictures, videos, and stories.  Also, in light of the last attack on the site a few weeks ago, there are some security concerns we needed to address.

Lastly, we’ve gotten a great deal of feedback from members like you explaining what you need and want on the site.  As a result, I’m upgrading and changing the GOE site over the next 24 hours, and you should see some great changes.  Most importantly, I’m taking great pains to ensure that navigation stays as close to what you’re used to as possible.  You’ll have a smooth experience with the changes as well.

If you’d like to take a peek at the new design, you’re welcome to check it out here.  Do not try to log in, as it won’t work.  Just take a look and enjoy the design, and it’ll be live on the national site over the next day or so!
