Face GOE Again? No Way, Say the Anti-America Crowd

January 5, 2008

Eagles!

Do you ever think that we’re spinning our wheels in fighting the America-hating moonbats? Well, consider this:

A.N.S.W.E.R., MoveOn.org, and their affiliated purveyors of political puke have canceled their planned March 15th event! They are increasingly intimidated by the prospect of us and our allies confronting them in the streets wherever that might be, in Hometown, USA, or Washington, DC.

Accordingly, we will not have the “Americans Standing Up” rally in DC on the weekend of March 15th, as there will be no opposition to confront, and you KNOW we love to intimidate those misguided souls and their anti-American leaders like Cindy Sheehan and George Soros!

In a nutshell, WE ARE WINNING THE BATTLE! And we will win the war for the soul of America!

Having achieved victory through our determination to confront the moonbats on their own terms and on terrain of their choosing, we are adopting a different approach for our next event. Having heard that the moonbats are planning to protest the Iraq War during General Petraeus’ April testimony on Capitol Hill, we are challenging THEM to meet US in DC!

If they accept our challenge, we will simply have a repeat performance of March 17, 2007, and most of you remember what happened on that date! That Gathering of Eagles (GOE I) was a watershed event in the history of American street politics in that we patriots have taken back the streets!

Make no mistake—the Let literally HATES us, and they will do what they can to thwart what we’re doing to support our military men and women and our veterans. However, their options are increasingly minimized in view of the fact that Eagles and other Americans are no longer intimidated by loud leftist voices and outrageous signs and banners.

Keep tuned, Eagles! They’ve only BEGUN to deal with people who understand what America’s all about…

Larry Bailey

HOOAH! Just like a good socialist! Tuck tail and scamper along! GREAT news!

  2. deputydan on January 5th, 2008 8:36 pm

Thanks Larry and company for the great Intel. I know everyone was licking their chops for some moonbat pie again, but this is a sweet victory for our camp. What the scumbags have to relize, ANY WHERE_ANY TIME! Their hayday is OVER….

  3. MikeBSuffolk on January 5th, 2008 8:44 pm

    Capt. Bailey,

That’s outstanding news. But we know we’re not finished just yet.

When you give the word to saddle up, we’ll be ready.

Oh here they come, Oh here they come, Oh here they come, Oh here they come, Watch out Commies, Oh here they come, Oh here they come.

    i’m disapointed :(

  5. Ron Howell on January 6th, 2008 12:26 am

Are they cancelling because of us or giving in to the IVAW for their winter soldier lying seminar?

  6. navywife on January 6th, 2008 7:35 am

I too think we are winning and am very happy about it, but personally I think it’s a ploy. I think they are putting those posts out there saying they are cancelling so we don’t show up and they can have their march without any counter protesting. I say we go anyway! If they’re not there that’s okay, we’ll visit Walter Reed, do some site seeing and make a weekend of it.

  7. navairdan on January 6th, 2008 8:23 am

And I already bought a 5 lb bag of onions to pan fry their livers. :)

  8. Doc Hal on January 6th, 2008 8:41 am

I tend to agree with NavyWife…as we found out in Huntspatch yesterday. Our group showed up at the appointed time only to find no mOOnbats. I happened to be driving by the corner a little later and found them setting up unopposed. We’ll get it right next week but there’s no reason (other than not wanting opposition) that they changed their time. AND what about the IVAW liar’s championship? Is that to go unopposed?

  9. concretebob on January 6th, 2008 9:23 am

Brothers and sisters, we are not going to let another winter soldier lie-fest go unanswered. I can’t go into detail here, but if you know me, you know this is on the radar and we are tracking multiple inbound bogies. Stay tuned, stay frosty.

  10. navairdan on January 6th, 2008 10:27 am

Concrete, I see you on the other site. Ready on the left!

  11. Paul Couturier on January 6th, 2008 10:51 am

If the GOE is still going to DC to counter the LIES that will be told by the TRAITORS of the ivaw, then count this REAL OIF Vet in!

I am not changing my plans. I am still going. I have a feeling that they are sending out disinformation because they don’t want their day ruined like it was last year. There are some people who have this on their radar. Just stay tuned because this may be a trick.
Even if they don’t show up, I am sure there will be a Walter Reid FReep on Friday night that I can attend and plenty of sites in DC to see for the rest of the weekend. I hope they show because I want another fight with them.

People that cut and run stand on my last nerve.

  13. do the dhue on January 6th, 2008 12:11 pm

    concretebob,

I am told that they pulled their permits for the 15th, but this would not keep small bands (of 24 or less) from showing up around DC.

  14. bevperl on January 6th, 2008 12:11 pm

I will be there on the 15th and I’ll go back for time on Nancy’s corner agan in April. I have an answer to their Winter Soldier, it’s called Spring Surprise!

  15. do the dhue on January 6th, 2008 12:27 pm

    I like the spring surprise!!

    HAVE WE FORGOTTEN?

It will be the “One Year” Anniversary; March 2007, which changed so many of our lives that day in DC when we confronted the “Hate America” Groups for the first time in 40 + years.

Our voices were heard then, and must be heard again this year March 15, 2008 in Support of Our Troops, their Families and Standing Up for America!

My wife and I will be there and so will many other Patriotic Americans!

Semper Fi and God Bless America,

Congratulations to all our brave American patriots that have confronted the anti-war traitors. Please remember that we have anti-war, anti-military creeps holding political office in DC and elsewhere, e.g., Murtha, Kerry, Reid, Boxer, Pelosi, that need to be defeated at the ballot box. Even more important is the upcoming Presidential election. There is nothing that will demoralize our troops more than this country electing a Liberal anti-war, anti-military surrender snake.

I am glad that we have not turned our backs on those who give us our freedoms and those on the left should realize that a lot of people have died for that cause. Our nation is unique and probably always will be for the freedoms granted us under our Constitution/Bill of Rights. This is why I feel so strongly about what we are doing today. May we never forget Vietnam, 9/11, and those who came before us. Let us carry ourselves as our fore-fathers did.

    Before we go any farther , take a look at these websites;
    http://www.resistinmarch.org/
    http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_david_sw_080103_peace_organizations_.htm

I’ll post these over in fourms as a link as well, however, here is a quote from one of these sites’

MARCH 19, 2008 (Wednesday) Everywhere and in Washington, D.C.: Nonviolent Resistance
Nonviolent Civil Resistance and/or Disobedience in All 435 Congressional Districts and in the Nation’s Capital on the Fifth Anniversary of the Occupation of Iraq
Locations in each congressional district, to be determined locally, can include congressional offices (Congress Members and Senators will be in their districts on this day), federal buildings, military recruiters, weapons makers, war profiteers, or corporate media outlets. In Washington, with Congress out of town, the focus will be on war profiteers in the military industrial disaster-capitalism complex. Where possible, events will include a place for people not willing to risk arrest. Evening town hall forums can also include a larger audience.

    And here is a quote from our Mission Statement;

    2. We are a non-violent, non-confrontational group. We look to defend, not attack. Our focus is guarding our memorials and their grounds.

To paraphrase CWO George “Im just a foot soldier in this group. But I urge the brass to rethink this decision.

I don’t trust these Moon Bat clowns, and should watch for a rapid change in tactics… especially If we do a stand down… they fear confrontation and they know we will stand up to them when ever where ever we can…
They Know the best way to avoid a head on , face to face again, it is to keep us in the dark and do a rapid deployment… Its what I would Do…

I’d like some guidance . In about 2days I will have to submit my choices for vacation - by senority -for the year USPS letter carrier . I was all set to go with the week of the week ending in 3/15/08/. once in set in stone ,dates not chosen are not likely to be able to get the time off. Is there a specific time scheduled in April at this point? Any advice ?, thanks

  30. TJ on January 7th, 2008 8:16 am

A one year anniversary ‘celebration’ of the first and LARGEST gathering of Eagles would be inspirational to those of us who are already flying high with the Eagles and could be a way to get more folks interested in our group and mission. It would be WONDERFUL to see as many or even MORE people this March. If there are moonbats to counter, that would just be ‘icing on the cake! If the moonbats are a no-show, then we get all the media focus to ourselves! I think ‘we’ need to keep this one on the calendar and make it a FABULOUS turnout! Again, I will offer floor space and an air mattress and encourage all other ‘locals’ to do the same. It’s expensive here in DC and anything we can do to help more eagles come to town, well…let’s do it!

  31. Rigger on January 7th, 2008 12:01 pm

Don’t believe them when they say they will not be there. I agree with ComSmith, you can’t stand down. Cover your Six, Guys. And thanks for the Great Job your doing.

    MAMA,

I would do what the GOE suggest. Right now that is an April gathering. I am going in MArch because I am going to attend the Friday night FReep at Walter Reid and then go site seeing the rest of the weekend. My friends and I are even planning a Sunday service at the National Cathedral. I will go in April too. I am just not willing to back down, but it is hard to stand and fight when your enemy wont face you.

As IVAW is attempting to replicate the VVAW propaganda fest of ‘71, you can bet that some sort of “Congressional” testimony is on their to-do list. In all liklihood (and with the more-than-willing assistance of like-minded seditionists in congressional offices) that “testimony” would occur on either Thursday or Friday, March 13th or 14th.

It would be almost criminal to (again) allow these seditionists unopposed conduct of their propaganda event.

  34. larrywb on January 8th, 2008 9:43 am

Eagles! Just want to let you know that we WILL confront the moonbats in March, whenever it is in March that they plan to “do their thing.” We’re aware that they may try to deceive us, but they won’t be able to pull off a major event without us knowing about it. “We has our sources!”

I will be in DC on March 15th and before, and I’ll certainly be there in April–whenever the moonbats decide to be there.

Keep watching the website for the latest plans! Concrete Bob has good intell, as do several other Eagles, about what the moonbats plan to do.

Perhaps I will be eating liver after all that weekend. I was going either way for Walter Reed Friday night and whatever else surfaced. Some sight seeing too. I was there on 9/15/07 and saw no DC sights, but rather, moonbat vermin on the The Cap Bldg lawn - looked like a termite mound after being kicked by a giant. Gotta see the Linc Mem, Wall & White House. Navywife, pack a bag, please?

  36. do the dhue on January 8th, 2008 5:37 pm

Get the onions NAVAIRDAN! You can’t have liver without onions!

I will be there in DC on for Walter Reed,Friday the 14th, and Sat the 15th from WI…also to visit/have a chat/brief with my Dad at at Arlington Cemetary.
April also when the dates are firmed up.
Of course, to check the damage/repair to the VN Wall.

BTW, Larry, any info on Monk(former active Marine that went active Army at age 42), who was with us on the visit to the Wounded Warrior Center, GOE III?

  38. larrywb on January 8th, 2008 6:42 pm

    Great, Walt!

Monk just spent the night with us here in NC on his way back to Ft. Benning, and he is doing great! Despite turning 44 years old on Friday (I think it was), he’s the top PT performer in his platoon! He’s soon to enter Advanced Infantry Training, and after that he hopes to go to Jump School and Ranger School. He’s an Eagle to be proud of!

  42. Teleqsal on January 16th, 2008 11:46 am

I was going because the IVAW were supposed to be there and they remind me too much of the VVAW w/kerrykoward.
    Have they cancelled also??

  43. caoilfhionn on January 20th, 2008 5:18 pm

That’s kind of interesting, since IVAW is planning the (new) Winter Soldier Investigation for Iraq and Afghanistan from March 13-16.

According to the IVAW website, it’s going to be in DC, although they don’t say where that I can tell.

Got something to say?
