The Erie Peace Initiative is a gathering of people from Erie and Crawford counties concerned that the US war on terrorism has become a permanent global war. We are committed to education and action to stop the “war on terrorism,” stop the escalation and spread of such war, and to work for true justice and peace. * 1:30 p.m. — Rally & speakers at gazebo on Perry Square
* 2 p.m. — March behind U.S. military veterans to St. Patrick’s Cauley Center, 215 East 4th St.
* 3:00 p.m. in Cauley Auditorium, learn about the war’s costs; hear views of candidates for PA D-3 on ending the war.

If you’re concerned about the Iraq war’s toll, come and stand up with others who say:

“Five years are enough!”

Families, youth, and seniors can take part in this public statement: the American people demand an end to the Iraq war!!

Candidates for Congress will tell you where they stand on pulling our troops out of Iraq

    I have an update on tomorrow’s counter-protest in Erie. We are getting dumped on with snow. It looks like its gonna keep snowing till tomorrow afternoon. I am not going out in that. I’m on crutches and can’t deal with trying to get around in it.
    So if anyone still wants to go you are more than welcome. I haven’t seen any updates from the moonbats to postpone the event. So it looks like it will be a “parade of morons” trudging through a foot of snow in single digit temps.
