New Haven, CT Rallies

March 27, 2008

For Immediate Release:

The GATHERING OF EAGLES, a patriotic organization whose goal is to publicly support our men and women in uniform, whether active duty or veteran, announces our whole hearted participation with the New Haven EAGLES UP in an upcoming rally at the Vietnam and Korean War memorial.

The Vietnam and Korean War Memorial Walls in New Haven, CT have been desecrated on three separate occasions. It was claimed to have been done by Illegal Alien gangs including - but not necessarily limited to - the MS-13 criminal gang organization, due to the messages that were scrawled upon the face of these memorials.

We as Americans should never stand for this. These two internet links show the media coverage of this story.

On Saturday, April 5th, Gathering of Eagles will be holding a rally at the War Memorial Park in New Haven, to protest this unspeakable act and to stand up for our fallen heroes.

This practice of Free Speech by the Gathering of Eagles is done as our rights as citizens; and is also done to show that those who appear to have desecrated these memorials are not Americans at all and wish to dishonor those who guarantee our rights as veterans.

Please pass the word around and stand with us.

Rally 1:
Where: War Memorial Park, Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT.
When : Sat. April 5th (12-2 PM)

Rally 2:

Can cameras be installed near these memorials to catch anyone desecrating them? If not, perhaps some vets would volunteer to stand watch or request that the police department announce that they will be patrolling around the area continuously. As the daughter of deceased WWII and Korean War veteran, I’m disgusted and appalled that we have such human debris walking freely. They belong with the Taliban or Al Quaeda where they would last about five seconds.

History calls on each and every American to take a stand at this time of peril for this country. The push of the anti-American forces can only be stopped if enough Americans have the will to resist. These pro American rallies we hold, have produced too few in number to be considered a major movement by the media.

While these rallies have been scattered over great distances and travel for many is hard, remember that within 100 miles of New Haven live millions of veterans and patriots. There is no excuse no low turnouts. Communication is the key to any sucessful event, so pass the word along and lets meet in New Haven April 5th.

A lot to be said for the old school:

It is not old fashioned to love your country and those who fight for it. Those ‘progressive’ liberals just want us to think so.

I think the Duke sums up a lot here too:

    I sure miss the Duke.

Hopefully it’ll be a pretty day, but it’s a lovely area and we’ll have a great turn out. Wuite a few people have heard about this, and it’s hard to estimate how many, but more than I originally anticipated. I’m REALLY excited!!
